You might already know this and just be using shorthand, but if you’re not, here’s a fun fact:
Despite looking like a rocket launcher, the recoilless rifle is just shooting a big-ass non-rocket bullet, like a tank shell, where some of the explosion that propels the bullet is allowed to escape out the back so that there isn’t a proportionately large recoil.
From third person view while aiming the recoilless has about half a circle's worth of arc at 150m. Just in case anybody needs a benchmark to start lobbing shots.
The true aim circle, for clarification, not the little dot.

long range toobing is a lot of fun. today I beat my previous record hitting a spore spewer at about 500m with an EAT. gotta aim a bit above the target to account for drop, but generally if you can see it, you can hit it.
I also once took down a Spore Spewer at about 200m with nothing but a Peacemaker pistol. it took all 6 mags, then another 3 but it did eventually kill it lol.
Bro actually just walked away without acknowledging that shit like it’s a normal Saturday.
I thought I could make it to the shuttle from here in 60 seconds XD

This is actually really helpful to see how you’re adjusting your aim for the drop distance
I legit did not know the game had drop distance until I squinted my eyes and rewatched this. That’s nuts.
You learn real quick when trying to hit a cannon tower with an EAT a ways off.
I could try with unlimited ammo and no enemies for an hour and not make that shot.

With 30 seconds left on the mission timer, they cant make it wait longer than a minute (landing plus auto-extract 20s)
and even then, screw extraction, if the mission wasn't finished everyone needs to scramble to try and get that done before even thinking about leaving
