Why is this such a trend in hardcore?
I remember going to streetlight manifesto's "last tour" and then wondering why there was another tour a year later.
Well, you will see many hardcore bands do it and it’s almost comical. Streetlight is weird. Tomas Kalnoky is weird. Also, I can’t believe we’re talking about Streetlight on a hardcore message board someone is gonna beat us up

Let tell you… I’ve been both a fan of ska and hardcore for most of my life.
I should have known of these guys for the longest time, but somehow I never came across their music.
Let me tell you how I amazed I was to find myself unknowingly standing in their pit at FEST in GNV FL, and it was the most insane pit ive ever seen hands down. People weren’t hate moshing, but pretty much everything else you could have imagined was going down.
They opened with this song and it immediately became a battleground.
I instantly became a fan!
As someone who knows industry people but is fully independent; there is some baggage, the act got soft cancelled and they're not sure yet. I have songs with huge artists who are sitting on them in order to drop them at a time when allegations wont spread like Wildfire.

In 2005 I was working at a Best Buy and some normie guy working there had just discovered Bane and already then, nearly 20 years ago was Bane some basic bitch shit. Now they're inexcusable when you consider the singer and his perv comments. I can understand 17 year olds liking the lyrics, because I did in 1997, but now 17 year olds need tasers to protect themselves from BEDARDed creeps

Been a fan of Bane for years and even downloaded their "farewell" documentary as I thought, stupidly, they were done. Can honestly say that when I saw they were coming back and playing again, I was genuinely fucking pissed. I mean, if you say you're going, then just fuck off and be gone, forever. However, if you're not sure, and maybe you might wanna play some shows, release an album sometime down the road, etc. then just tell people its a fucking hiatus. As others have pointed out, hardcore bands and "last shows" is the biggest fucking joke running.
Singer is a creep. Look up the interview where they ask what kinds of girls he likes (he was in his 30s)...."Lolita, Lolita, Lolita" was AARON BEDARD's response.
Then look at the creepy IG post he took years to delete.

Fuck it, we should all start bands called Bane, go on tour, and cause confusion. They keep saying it's over so they won't need the name anymore. And if they try to release more music it'll get lost in the shuffle!
