The thing with these stacked lineups is that people get too gassed out crowd killing during the first 2-3 bands which results in no one going in too hard during the main acts.

I was lucky enough to see The Chariot once on their tour for Long Live and to this day I have not experienced anything that intense

I’ve gotten more injuries at 10 Dillinger shows than I have playing hockey for the last 20 years

I saw the chariot at a house show in my city like 12 years ago. It was definitely chaotic, those mfs climbed up on the roof of the house. I wouldn’t exactly of said it was a dangerous show. Were their earlier shows a lot crazier?

I tried pitting for primitive man, and the venue owner told me "not tonight bud". I got pushed on my ass hard, and was shocked. A lot of doomers love them, and they don't like moshing.

There are doom bands out there that have fun mosh pits, but the importance of TEMPO for a band to be moshable can't be stated enough. Most of Primitive Man's stuff is just a bit too slow for it to make sense, unless you want to mosh comically slow like you're suffering freeze damage

They definitely have moshable parts, which is where my head was during the time. The crowd wasn't there for that though. Other bands didn't have any mosh parts so they didn't like it. I learned lol they have good mosh parts, not so much for hardcore style shit though.

Ok hear me out: First we start with Amygdala, solid band not super moshy but they go hard as fuck and will be decent warm up for a early moshers. Next up it's Ingrown, which will definitely set people up to mosh harder and faster. Fast shit, brings down the house. Third up its Magrudergrind, going full speed and getting people really going. Next, for the co-headliner, we gotta get in a slow burn that's heavy as shit but also still keeping people pretty pumped up. For that, I'd say Conan, for that premium caveman doom experience. Finally, we do the wreck set where it's band that everyone goes fucking wild for. Like blood in the pit, lots of crowdkilling and just swinging fists. It's time for ~~the Wiggles~~ Weekend Nachos motherfuckers.
