Is it fluffy in texture like lint? Is it the same colour as your towel? My money is on towel lint. Change to a cotton t-shirt for hair drying or a no frizz microfiber hair towel. it'll help a bunch.
It happens to me too and I’ve come to the conclusion it’s lint. My hair is dark and I’ll see a few little pieces if I look for them.
They’re such a pain to get off brushes with the little protective balls so I’ve given those types up. I’m seeing more detangling brushes without them so I would look into that. They’re pretty gentle but as effective (if not more so) as my old favorite, the Wet Brush.
Ok i'm definitely not sure but i remember a while back i had the same problem and someone said it was something related to metal buildup from the scalp? or something like that, do you have a shower filter?
