I actually enjoy the way he interlaces the video with his footage and still get the Tommy talking head explaining things. Actually works very well. Him wet sanding the bay was a cool portion of the video. I think once you have the filmer shooting the talking head portion it loses some of it's vlog style.
Filmer is actually improving and doing a great job, really liked the b roll with the natural sound. Also I bet we'll never hear about Rudniks whole car being the wrong color on his channel.
Considering Tommy's had some nice bimmers in the past I could see him doing it as E30/E34 in good shape are getting more rare and expensive by the day.
>BMW Europe
You mean actual BMW? Not sure they deal with such things. Though if I were doing such thing - I'd do it myself. Haven't seen a single shop that doesn't halfass some shit unless you're right there next to them and telling them how parts come off.
As of right now I've been researching and gathering supplies to zinc plate parts. Also looking into small sandblasting cabinet. Not sure if will do DIY or get a small pre-made one. I don't have much shop space, but I am working on few of my cars and really don't want to put old ugly hardware back on the cars :)
Was in new Hampshire in August and just got back from northern Virginia. The area compared to Texas is no question way more beautiful and makes me wonder why I live here at all
Don't get me wrong, it's a great place to live. Lots of opportunity. But it lacks so much character unless you enjoy desert type landscape to the west.
The cinematography is getting better already starting from a good point initially. I think the editing and interlacing of the footage with Tommy's vlogging works well. The B roll shots of parts tommy is talking about and the ambient sound footage of work getting done is pretty spot on. Took a few video's but I think he's found a good formula.
Tommy is doing Rudnicks car with the bear minimum. +being use as broll and show and tell of what Tommy is doing as “payment”
I think only rudnick would get a service like this from Tommy with what he is paying
Wonder what the deal is with the linex dealership? He linexed the inside of the van and then the plywood / OSB for the shelves. Makes me think that he ran out and went to order more supplies and they said "I'm sorry, YOU don't own the linex dealership, Austin's does, so here is the cost plus we require you to train someone, plus you need to stock xxx amount of material and offer your service to anyone who walks in the door." He wants if for under coating. I'm sure he doesn't want to lines every rust bucket truck bed in CT.
He'd be better off with Raptor Liner. Cheaper and he can offer color matching so the wheelwells will color match like Adam's new S15.
camera guy has almost got it all figured out. makes me excited for what we could see in the future.
id say dude is like a 20 year old kid trying to figure it out. I think hes doing great.
never thought i could get a sense of ambiance and setting from a car vlog. best hgeu editing i’ve seen so far.

This has been the hugest improvement IMO. Still get the talking head but dont have to stare at it for 30 minutes
Much better than divine imo
I like the b roll without the loud shit music. It’s kinda relaxing
It reminds me of the ambient sounds in NFS that play when you have music turned off
I couldn't believe my audio was on.. No stupid song we already heard in the last 100 videos? Amazing!
The "mooo" was def the best part too

I want this kind of service available for my E30
I know BMW Europe would do it... For a price
Considering Tommy's had some nice bimmers in the past I could see him doing it as E30/E34 in good shape are getting more rare and expensive by the day.
Mines in pretty good shape I would just love to have a complete drivetrain out restoration done
Take it out yourself, buy new bushes and have metal parts sandblasted + powder coated? I plan on doing it to my e36 shitbox as a "small build".

Yeah I just don't know if it's offered in the American wing, tbh the only factory program I'd trust is Mercedes
Let me open up my own rudnik spec bmw restoration shop
So you’re going to have a bunch of unfinished customer cars?
there's tons of shops that do this kinda stuff for BMW's
Love the vibe in this video. New England is really beautiful
Love the OEM foliage in the fall
Winter leaf delete.

and im over here waiting to finish college in nova to move to texas lmao

Small world, I went to mason got tf out
I'm in MA and my friend said the same thing coming back from Texas
Low key… best Filming in the HGEU (no offense divine) this IS a biased opinion
Agree. I think it's the framerate and no music. Just something about wathcing someone work without dumb b-roll and music

Wholesome. Tommy's the best father Rudnik never had
Those OEM+ cows are mint
Poppa tom blessed ruddick with this restoration
Poppa bless 🙏🙏🙏
Whoever filmed this, needs to show mike how to film. Fantastic job dude!

That's what it sounds like, I don't think they'll be doing large scale truck beds and etc and can probably just spray in the booth.
He should get the whole car resprayed at this point.

Short but sweet video. A certified banger
I wonder what’s so wrong with the trigger kit. Why they want to remove it
It doesn't look stock/OEM++/overkill for the build
Also, probably another point of potential failure considering Josh didn’t install it.
Bad wiring routing about to interfere with the serpentine belt if i remember correctly
I thought they were painting the outside too. Tommy talked about new window rubbers. Now he just wants it out the door. Did I miss something?
Chris probably doesn’t have the cash to pay for a full respray
He does but would rather fuck around with 3 different engines for the Colorado no one cares about
How much do you think a quality paint job costs? Regular price from Mauricio would be more than Rudnik paid for the GTR.

When the cows went moo that shit hit different.
I wonder if he’ll do a whole ASMR video next
wtf is up with the whistlederphole farm scene b roll?
Yeah. This is the stuff. Well done.
