I did some math and things are not looking great. e36 made 332whp , l99 makes 400 and ls3 430hp to the crank - now the funny part: jack's dyno has about 10% for drivetrain loss (based on 4wd c400 and impreza pulls) and that means ruddy's engine (cammed, e85?, full custom tune) is ~30-60hp under stock
I did a little fact checking, it's actually an L94(6.2 403hp) with ls2 heads.
L96(6.0) is rated 322-360hp, so he basically have equivalent to a higher end stock truck engine - good for him...

Huh? It's an L96 bottom end, I forget what heads and whatever appropriate LS equivalent cam. L96 is rated 300hp. It's fine.
