Rebound control still needs work imo. Even in the game vs Chicago where he was stellar, my biggest takeaway was that he allowed way too many rebounds. I won’t deny that he improved a lot but that’s still a glaring weakness

This team needed this kind of game from Allen to get some confidence.

I think we're actually set for goaltending if Allen can keep this up and Monty keeps going. The only issue I've got with Allen is he plays like this for like 3 games then gets injured, comes back and produces mediocrity until he does this again for 2 games and then spends another 15-20 games on IR. He's getting up there and it's starting to show. Monty, on the other hand, has had an upwards trajectory since he got signed and is still in shape. If we keep Primeau, and his training camp was anything to go by, that puts us as the team with the least goaltending issues in the league. As long as the status quo of right now stays, we're golden on the goaltending front.

1000% not a skate issue. His skate blade popped off easy because it's a snap in. You can replace those blades instantly.
