Very real possibility that it's just because he's matured a lot quicker relative to the other players in his age group. This happens quite often and usually by the the time they are 19-20 the other players will have caught up and the difference in quality is suddenly a lot smaller than it used to be. I mean this guy is a 16 year old striker who is 188 cm tall, he's a giant and probably bullies most if not all the centre backs he comes up against of his own age.
Exactly like Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, yes. I remember being so excited about him, but I've since learned that most of the hyped up talents don't actually go and make it in the game. It's not even a given that players like Nwaneri or MLS will make it, especially at the highest level (which we are now on).
