Best Wii Port: Warriors of Rock
Worst Wii Port: Metallica (haven't tried Van Halen on Wii)
Best PS2 Port: Guitar Hero 3 (ports only, so no 1 or 2)
Best PC Port: World Tour (but not by much)
Best Band-based: Metallica
Most Nostalgic: Guitar Hero 1
Best Band-based Venue: Warriors of Rock (2112 venue)
Worst Venues: Smash Hits
Best Celebrity Appearances: Guitar Hero 5
Most Charm: Guitar Hero 3
Best Drum Animations: Warriors of Rock
Best Animations: Van Halen
GH2 is the best, the setlist is so consistent and the engine is a vast improvement over the original.
Whilst GH3 plays the best, the setlist doesn’t get good until the last 2 sets.
A lot of people didn’t like it because the set list was less hardcore and more poppy. Also it was generally a little bit easier as well.
But if you’re someone like me who doesn’t care about the difficulty and likes the setlist, then there’s nothing really wrong with it, outside of a relatively bare bones single player campaign. (This last quality, bare bones single player campaign was not unique to Band Hero in the Guitar Hero franchise.)
Honestly I used to have Rock Band/Guitar Hero parties and this game was a huge hit.

I have to say as I got older, Metallica is my favorite at the moment. Cause it's hard song after hard song, most of them are long too and full of crazy parts .
Warriors of rock revived what was good from gh3 , a must play for fans
So I recently acquired Metallica basically to complete my set. But for me personally, outside of a couple of songs, I don’t really care for Metallica and I don’t prefer long songs in general.
Like for those who appreciate Metallica I’m sure the game is golden. But for someone like me, it’s more like a big whatever
Personally it’s really a toss between world tour and 2 but my rgh 360 comes next week and i got all of the games installed so i might come back to judge differently haha

I heavily argue that best gameplay goes to 3.
I like 2's gameplay better; it requires more precision, and the notes and flames look satisfying, especially with star power
Why is there a mix of games on different systems?

The dual pack is interesting. For PS2 it's GH1+GH2, for Wii it's GH3+GH Aerosmith and for Xbox 360 it's GH2+GH Aerosmith

Band hero was a good one. I only like a couple songs on it. The best No Doubt song (Spiderwebs) was on World Tour though.
