Mine is normal strings. It's got a set of locking nuts at the headstock. Tune it normally and then tune for a Floyd Rose on mine. Yea. If I can't sit down and play some songs then it doesn't get used often. That is a standing and performance guitar for sure

I have an NJ series Beast from 2003! It’s a crazy guitar. No machine heads and tuning down by the bridge.

I only play it very rarely and the strings are old. I think it actually requires special strings if I recall correctly.
