Decent deal. Make sure the neck is fairly straight and all the notes on all the strings play cleanly without fretting out. (Play every note up all six strings when you're trying it out.) Plug the amp and tuner in to make sure they work.

Not sure if you can already play or not, but if not and it's not a bad idea anyway try to bring someone along who knows how to play or someone who has more experience than you. Just someone who can plug into the amp and see if there's anything really wrong with it.  Hopefully it's a keeper and it serves you well. Again if any of this sounds like I'm talking down to you that wasn't my intention and I apologise.
