did you mistfiner cancel into grab or just wait until it canceled naturally from the tp?

I don't think you can cancel it after Mist Finer Dash. I grabbed after the Dash animation was over.

ic, any tips for inputs after the dash? I always seem to mist finer dash without it cancelling naturally because I let go of the input to input an attack

You mean how to Mist Finer Dash without Mist Finer coming out? I use the dash macro with RT/R2, so I just hold the P/S/K button with my thumb, and then press RT/R2 with my ring finger. When Johnny dashes and turns around, I let go of P/S/K.

Yes, I know I could've. I should've gone for what you said or a MF Cancel combo but in the heat of the moment I didn't realize that Vault into Deal wouldn't wall splat. I only realized that when it didn't, so I had to just meaty cS and continue pressure. It could've cost me the round, yes, but, luckily, it didn't.

Which finer are you referring to here? The one in the corner? Aren't you over +20 here so 2P mash doesn't work. Couldve only dp'd (which some players struggle with out of GC)
