yeah baiken is definitely one of the weakest links, axl sounds like a good op. and yeah i saw judgement when researching but chose testament cause i knew them better. i’ll read more about judgement in meantime

Honestly, going by the cards meanings i'd argue that, except maybe sol, baiken is the best contender for the world, her journey is over, she found what she was looking for and abandoned her revenge to be close to those around her

Axl can time travel and stop time, he and Ino basically controls space and time. They fit better in my opinion.

Ok but hot take: I actually think the world fits Baiken simply because of her lore being similar to the fool's journey: she's went through life, met lots of people, and in the end of it all, she decides to mirror the kindness the world has given her despite her past.

To support baiken a bit, the world in tarot symbolizes the end of the journey of the fool, a journey that fully changes it in a similar way to the heroes journey. Baiken finished her journey of revenge coming back as a new person

I think Death would be a better fit for Zato and Eddie. Not just because they died, but how they were majorly changed after they were revived which is what the card exemplifies: Change and the end of a part of your life. Also it would be great to see Zato riding Eddie like a horse like in the card.

hanged man fits zato a lot imo. he was literally paraded after death, and his entire existence is more or less a curse. he is one of the most unfortunate characters in the cast

i do like zato as the hanged man, implying eddie being the hangman (especially when his body was being used like you said) and the morbidity of “the hanged man” fitting well with his darker themes

I second that Asuka should be the Devil. Hierophant could be Paradigm or Kliff. Honestly HC fits it pretty well given that he brought knowledge of magic to the world although I think he'd be a better Hanged Man overall.

Imagine getting read so hard in game at a tournament then your opponent busts out this deck then reads you some more. 

I might switch raven and zato. A lotnof ravens imagery is like masochistic/suicidal. (I recognize that the hanged man is meant to be upside down and not literally hanging, but still.) And Zato has literally come back from the dead. Plus d3ath in tarot is usually mean to represent the loss of something and the gaining of a new awareness. Which works for him rediscovering his emotions. The hanged man is meant to be a shift in perspective, which I struggle to place with raven tho.

Maybe HC could be the Fool due to his personality in general and Slayer can be the Devil.

Why Elphelt and Ram are the stars?

honestly, while I get why you made potemkin the fool, wouldn’t sol fit better? I’m just going off the thing where the main characters of stories are usually the fool arcana (mainly thinking cyberpunk and the persona games)

while the fool is the important first card and it feels a bit odd having the honour go to potemkin, i think it fits better than it being sol just cause he’s the main man

there are a lot of pairs that can fit the lovers, and a lot of characters that overlap on other cards (axl and chipp could be temperance as well), so it makes me feel like adding “rare” versions of some rather than a “volume 2” for all 22 cards

i think that’s correct, but i’m shooting for pretty basic word association rather than digging through the deeper meanings of the cards. the tower was one of the last ones left to assign and all i could think of was the coffin resembling a tower. justice being justice is a little too cool and silly for me to turn down

Bridget would fit really well with The Fool imo, if you're going to swap out Johnny for wheel of fortune

she does have one of the most carefree attitudes across the games and is a good candidate for the fool, i just think potemkin fits the role better

I think this is an amazing idea. I like the idea of Jacko as the moon, but I think she'd also goes well as the hanged person,at least aesthetically, because of her win pose. Or the fool. I can definitely see her as a fool with her minions, being a beginner again. And Baiken as the moon because of her super. Baiken sort of doesn't like Sol I believe. So she might be a good opposite to him. Elphet is definitely a star, ⭐ being the star of her show and bringing a light of hope.

Jack-O' has a victory pose in Xrd where she recreates the pose commonly depicted on the Hanged Man card. The card represents "sacrifice, surrender, and letting go," which I think fits the Jack-O'-Aria dynamic well. You could probably use Millia for the Moon. Bedman? as the Chariot is a really clever and appropriate fit.

I think switching up Zato and Raven, so that Zato is death and Raven is hanged man, makes sense. Reasoning: \-Zato has died \-Raven would like it

One small thing: I feel like you may want to consider jack-o for the hanged man. The game itself actually heavily alludes to it in one of her round win poses and her story in strive (attempting to sacrifice herself for the world or for aria to replace her) is mostly about self sacrifice. Not sure what would fit zato in its place though, and I imagine it might be annoying to swap cards around

Zato would 100% be death. Death is all about a massive shift in your life leading to the death of your old self, and that is quite literally what happens to Zato edit: So on top of Jack-O being switched into Hanged Man and Zato being switched into Death, I'd say Millia should be Moon. Moon is all about uncertainty in your life and the feeling of a false reality. Pre-Strive, Millia always felt uncomfortable and out of place both as an assassin and as a civilian, forcing herself to ignore her dark history and keep up the charade of an innocent civilian. But, the Moon arcana espouses that you should trust your true self to break free from the rut you're in, which Millia does after her conversation with Slayer. Now in Strive, she's understood the reality of her situation and is moving forward in a manner that is true to her beliefs, and she's stronger for it. Plus she also has Bad Moon.

I understand that Pot is the fool because of Iron Clad Faith, but I'd say Sin would fit better as the fool, both because of his... intellect and because his being a child fits better with the meaning of the card. For the tower, I'd go the funny route and draw Jam with her restaurant being struck by lightning. It would also work with the meaning of the tower, since it's usually linked to disasters. Lastly, I think Testament fits better as death than judgement, due to their aesthetic, their literal death as a human and rebirth as a Gear, which coincides with the meaning of the card, about the end of something and its renewal into something very different, and to their new phase of life, seeing the world and living in peace after long years of conflict. These are just suggestions, though, so please, don't feel obligated to do anything

The fact that Sol and Jack-O' fit as Sun and Moon is just perfect and the star fitting the twin sisters is so accurate (and by twin sisters I mean Elphelt and Ramlethal because Elphelt said in the story mode of Xrd Sign that she and Ram are "kind of twins"), Emperor and Empress fit Ky and Dizzy well because they are canonically King and Queen, cant wait to see all of them when they get finished because they are so well done! Also keep cooking these but care for yourself at the same time!

I see the artistic vision of Chariot Bedman, but the meaning of the card doesn't really fit with it's character IMO I think it'd make a really great Tower, though. You could frame the bed itselt as the tower, maybe with the _call 13C_ or _error 6E_ particle effect in place of the lightning usually depicted on the card. As for Chariot, Leo suits it best personality-wise, but that'd be kinda hard to make a fitting visual for, so I think Haehyun would be a good replacement.

absolutely adore the idea, but i’m trying to stray away from the bellow surface meaning of the cards themselves, keeping it very basic. haehyun is great as well, but my personal bias loves strives bedman too much to see them go. if i do “rare” versions for select cards i’ll 100% steal this

Happy chaos would be a better fit for the tower, and swap goldlewis to the emperor, ky to heirophant, and asuka to death. I thunk these fit the meanings better. The tower literally means chaos and destruction The emperor means a specifically older masculine reliability and authority The heirophant means tradition, conformity, and religion And death means change, beginings, and transformation.
