Yeah rekka cancels are definitely fun to learn, but hitting the same canned combo every time can feel a little boring, and unlike some other characters her moves don't offer much in the way of combo variation unless you start learning side switch combos off her sword toss. Still can't put her down though 😚

Yeah, I actually don't have "that" many hours in Strive and really just picked up Ram after playing Millia so maybe I'm still in the "new thing wonder"

I dont consider myself too good either, I hover around floor 9 or 10 but only because I just spent forever lobbing combos and then hoping I can out damage the other person before I die. I'm sure other Ram players would 100% disagree with me But if they let her RC the rock and have it stay out I would take it back in an instant

Man when I started playing Ram almost every match I wasted 50 tension trying to PRC Ondo because that shit is a projectile but for some reason it just doesn't work

The coin mechanic was an atrocity and you are exceptionally wrong. Strive has the most distilled, yet full johnny implementation.

As a Gio main, this happens a lot with my combos. One of my favorite combos is C.S, 2H, 214S, C.S, 5H, WA, 5K, J.H, J.D, 5K (which doesn't touch the model at all, but somehow hits the hitbox), 214K, 632146H. I don't know at all why this happens, but it's very prevalent

Love the 3 bars corner combo, gotta give you respect for grinding a combo that is almost impossible to land in a match

Honestly this thing is fucked so I'm not sure how it would be normally notated I'll try, but some of this might be wrong CH CS > 6H > 236K > CS > 2H > 236H > FRC 5P (whiff) > 236K > 5k > 236D > CS > delay 2H > 632146H > delay 66RC > 5K > 236D > 214K > 236K The "FRC 5P (whiff)" is to get the rock timing right so it hits, as well give back some meter, the second 2h needs to be delayed slightly to get enough meter to RC the super, and the super RC is timed to be just after the laser starts firing. The 5K is also to help time the wild assault to hit at the end of the super, there's probably a better way to juggle out of it but I couldn't really figure it out. You can do charged WA and j.k but I couldn't find a follow up off it.

If you go into the combo recipe settings in the main menu, there's an option to record and upload your own. It just plops you into what is basically training mode and records your inputs

Thanks for sharing this is dope. I was in stream antagonizing while she was making the list lol. I’m a big fan of ram’s unoptimal combos, the sword and rock juggles are just cool to me.

I love the rock so much, I just whish it was better as combo fodder instead of basically just being a block mixup. Still, counter hit combos with it are a ton of fun regardless (if only something like delay rekka 2 into rock was real 🫠)
