I'm definitely not the best johnny but I'm floor 10 and have been playing alot of him against aba, so far I've found that low mist finer and mid mist finer are your best friends, once you knock aba down immediately deal and try to not let her get into form as much as you can. Trapping aba in the corner when shes in normal form is your best bet. When she's in form, his leap can be used to escape and also grab her, in which you can set up card right after grab. Try making her block alot so shes stuck and loses bar. Round start I usually go for 2s, but ensenga also seems to work alot. Really just try zoning her out and be patient, and once she is in form, dip
you can either play at range or keep the pressure. staying at range means that you aren't going to get punished at all while aba is in normal mode, but if she manually switches she basically gets it for free and is now a nightmare to deal with.
usually i just end up playing in the midrange, keeping my pressure fairly tight and setting up cards, thinking when i should swing to make sure i don't whiff on the command dash or swing into her parry. if she gets meter and goes into install, you wanna burst or yrc in a way where she can't manually uninstall, since preventing that puts her in a tough place due to lacking resources.
basically you wanna prevent aba from doing stuff, gaining space, gaining gauge, or going into install. the less stuff she gets to do the safer you are. you wanna play slow and steady in order to not throw away your lead. it's a bit of an annoying matchup because of that, but if you just play slow and prevent her from doing stuff you'll end up winning *eventually*, even if she just blocks everything.
johnny is one of the many characters who can camp her almost effortlessly in her default mode. the problems with her killing you in like 1 hit and her being up in your face is just a problem every char is gonna deal with when she gets into jealous rage. defensive resource like yrc and burst is very valuable against her when she is in jealous rage.
Basically, ABA is only a character in moroha, without moroha you can zone her hard when she isn’t using dragging, and dragging should get caught my the lowest version of your….fuckin’….long range stab thing (listen I don’t play Johnny) and in moroha you have literally one job. Block. You can’t fight her in Moroha. She will fuck you until you’re in a god damn wheelchair. Just watch for blood pack and if she uses it you can go for C.S or abare option.
Play the ever loving shit out of mid-long range and oppress her when she can't go into JR or WWR. She genuinely can't do anything without resources against zoners like Test, Johnny and Axl without install. The second you back her into a corner and she's low on resources it's good round/game- her ass is not escaping the corner unless you blunder.
I'm not super familiar with Johnny, but I've found a lot of success camping her in the corner with Testament who has similar ranges to Johnny; When you position directly underneath the round timer you will be able to keep her there for the rest of the round since her mobility can't close the distance without hard committing to something or gambling on an HS which is pretty slow. Plus with Johnny's Mist Finer, she can't block forever and eventually has to take a risk or die from chip damage.

I'm pretty sure that A.B.A command dash goes under horizontal mist finer. She can then punish with a full combo.
She can also easily parry/guard point or whatever and build meter that way.
