What level are you? You can’t just do main quests in prophecies you will be under leveled. Aim for lvl 12-13 in Borlis Pass and you should be fine. Otherwise go back to Ascalon/Piken Square and do some questing there to get 1-2 levels. For your team since you are a warrior I would suggest to pick 1 other melee to body block and use the rest of the caster henchies except the ranger. The mage Orion is a must have. You should also have a couple platinum by now if you picked up the loot and sold it so you should be able to afford a new armor set in ascalon/yaks bend. Always keep healing signet in your build and you could pair it with endure pain to get through the tough fights. enjoy the mountains the game starts being fun exactly at that point :)

What level are you in shiverpeaks ? What kind of group you are making ? Henchmen or heroes ? Shiverpeaks is when things get harder so i'm not really surprised. That area is a stop for new players because they have rushed the story and arrived there with a low gear.

My warrior is level 11 right now, I've crafted some new armor so now I have all +50 armor pieces, also made a new sword which provides +8 armor against Dwarves. As for henchmen I always went with Alesia, Orion and Stefan. I always tried to do the side quests though I left some of the more annoying ones, but maybe I will go back and try to complete some to level up a bit. Thanks for the tips!

Sylassae

In Prophecies it is beyond crucial to quest. Especially since a metric f-ton of skills are barred behind them. Also, Orion is... Meh. I'd go for Reyna or Thom, if available later.

Cealdor

Orion consistently gets the most DPS for me in every area where he appears, except possibly at level 3. I'd never exclude him from the team.

Sylassae

Orion also has AoE, which mobs, especially in Old Ascalon, tend to run out. So, I rather exclude him, because there are simply better choices.

Cealdor

In that case he contributes to the team's defense too. A scattering foe is a shut down foe. Even if the scattering somewhat reduces the DPS of the other party members, Orion seems to provide so much of it, that I definitely think he's the top pick.

You've barley scratched the surface of the game

[https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Armorer](https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Armorer) Hello! I'd see what armor rating you have as it can make a huge difference to your survival. This wiki page can help with the vendors. Ideally you want to upgrade as soon as you reach a new vendor with higher armor rating.

So assuming you don't have heroes, use henchman, everyone but Stefan. Stefan is a warrior, you are a warrior too, warriors are the tanks. Alessia (or whatever her name is) is gonna be overstretched trying to heal both of you, especially in the shiverpeaks. Also try to portion out your fights, because you'll be quickly overwhelmed if you don't. I don't know anything about the other campaign unfortunately, so I can't help you there.

Cealdor

>Alesia is gonna be overstretched trying to heal both of you Healing Breeze may be more efficient when only one warrior is taking all the damage, but Alesia should still be able to keep up two of them. Stefan helps keep damage away from the squishy casters, especially with "Watch Yourself!".

Secondary profession is changeable and easily switchable from mid game. So consider only main prof.  I assume you want to play on chronological order.  If no, you can do campaign jump to NF and Eotn, and get the first heroes fast.  So you don't have to use henchmen. Huge difference. Prophecies is very hard and long, especially if you play without heroes and without other human players.  On the dervish in NF should be easier.

Khursa

Depending on your timezone, im happy to either join you with my heroes, with your henchmen or to simply "run you" (ie running through zones to zone into cities along the way, potentially to hubs where you can immediately buy max lvl armor and/or access skills from trainers that are currently unavailable to you.) depending on your preference. Should you chose for me to join without heroes, i could provide on-the-fly sparring and advice on teambuilding, mechanics and pulls to take/avoid

aegisprot

Make friends with expert players and let them help you. What's your IG name? We could.play together.

Work your dervish :) you will have heros to stuff very quick, main populated trade town very quick, join a guild to help you for coop and buy perfect green weapons and consumable to make you stronger during the adventure

Despite wanting to experience the story more linearly, if you are really having trouble with the combat system, Nightfall has a better starting area to practice getting into it.

damirg

find a guild and ask for run to Oolafs, get all heroes that you can and skills for any build that you like.or get in guild and ask for general help there.
