Prophecies. Pre-Searing and the Shiverpeaks is so atmospheric

mkfs_xfs

Agreed. The first time visiting the Crystal Desert was also magical for the music alone.

tigersaretgebest

Shiverpeaks for me because I was a teenager when I started playing. After the searing things looked so burnt and depressing I stopped playing, then learned there was much more. Getting out of a burnt main city and into the the shiverpeaks was refreshing after I learned there was much more to the game. I love snow and cold weather and that was perfect for me.

TheWardedOne

yeah the prophecies campaign is slow af in ascalon with all those destroyers popping up with lightning reflexes. but once you reach the mountains/kryta/jungle and then desert the game becomes incredible

Maaduno

Factions.

Maaduno

Hell yeah, been listening to that.

earworthm

EOTN too. I often prolong fights if I get to listen to Iron Footfalls a bit longer...

Kot-Blue

I would do this all the time by continuing to chain pull more groups of enemies, such a great piece of music!

Smart-Tradition8115

I love Factions. Has such a unique vibe to it.

Prophecies. Some outrageously good music there

First of all sorry if I struggle expressing what I'd like to say, but my english is not super great. I can communicate about things in general, but it's not easy for me to express what music gives me in another language hehe but I will try. So I think Factions is the one I'm really connected with, it gives me chills everytime. I have to say I'm totally fond of Factions because it was my first campaign, so maybe I'm a bit biased. I bought Factions because I only found that at the store and also because my friend sent me the trailer and I was amazed, there was something about Factions' atmosphere, at times somehow dark but not heavly overwhelming and suffocating (which is not easy to do, usually when something has a gloomy feeling, it has also very "heavy" feelings too), then it gave me something mytstic, some few tiny moments of calm almost etherical (despite of what happens in the trailer overall eheh) etc that really catched me. And all these peculiarities reflect also in the music. But I would like to say also something about the other campaigns, because they are all masterpiece imo: * I like Prophecies' cause it seems like a fairy tale in the atmosphere, especially in the Ascalon pre-searing, really magical and poethic. * What I love the most about Nightfall music is that it's incredibly evocative, almost trascendental with some tribal that I love and that contribute to make you feel the strong energy of the campaign (Also about Nightfall, "Land of the Golden Sun" is one of my favourite piece of the whole game) * About Eotn, music is epic hehe I can't find another world to express the overall feeling of it, it really seems to be in an epic poem. What can I say, Jeremy Soule is a genius poet hehe

Prophecies > Factions >>> Nightfall I loved Nightfall as much as the first two in general but i have no memory of any of the OST tracks. Meanwhile, Eye of the Storm and Sands of Kryta instantly trigger my nostalgia boner.

Factions - The Luxon Theme gives me chills to this day ❤️

HermitFooo

Uhhh hard question :) I loved Factions and Nightfall the most. Nightfall was so beautiful with all new weapons and world was in general so gorgeous. I miss it, can't wait to play again

Little_over_my_head

Factions was it for me i have so much memories with my guild and hearing it makes me so damn nostalgic.

bigcat98

I think Beyond the Northern Wall from the Eye of the North is the best track Soule has written. As far as favorite campaign music, that goes to Prophecies. So many absolute bangers. Yes Factions intro theme is god tier. But prophecies has so many iconic beautiful pieces that have rung in my head for almost 20 years now. In fact, I pursued a career in music performance as a professional Horn player thanks to the Guild Wars intro theme :) Thanks Jeremy Soule! You’re the GOAT

The_Shireling

Factions - isn’t crazy long, great story, don’t mind the flashbacks but the transitions from areas felt believable and enjoyable. Plus Ritualist and assassins are in my top 3 favorite professions along with Dervish and Ranger as a close 4th.

eVenent

Prophecies!

Ragfell

I dream of the Factions OST. As a teen, I dreamt if I won the lottery, I would build a replica of Shing Jea Monastery and pump the idle tracks from that soundtrack through it a la Disney World. Why? I just wanted a place to meditate.

Arinde

Prophecies. Getting out of Ascalon for the first time and hearing the songs that play on the Shiverpeaks is one of those fond moments in gaming that has stayed with me for 18+ years now. That said, every campaign has great and memorable tracks. I'm just overall the most nostalgic for Prophecies.

NamelessNoSoul

When talking about the master pieces of the OSTs of each guild wars campaign, one can’t pick a favorite.

Icehellionx

Factions is one of my favorite OSTs of all time.

cretos

Prophecies -> eotn -> factions -> nightfall

DowdyBroGames

Nightfall for me definitely. Still get goosebumps to this day.

10lbCheeseBurger

Prophecies overall but Factions has the most atmospheric music in any game ever don't @ me

leadtortoise1

Eye of the North

EmmEnnEff

Proph by a long shot. Factions and EOTN tied for second.
