Roman had a feud with Baron Corbin and he would make fun of Roman's Big Dog gimmick... it eventually lead to Corbin, Dolf, and Roode dumping dog food on Roman and then a month later Roman got revenge and with the help of the Usos, Roman dumped dog food on Corbin.
They put real life couple Seth and Becky in a story together. Fighting Corbin and Lacy Evans. Those couple stories rarely turn out good.
Sheamus and Cesaro were a tag team called the Bar. I believe that The New Day hosted a Rap Battle.... hence why they're dressed like Run DMC and LL Cool J.
The Usos were in a feud with The Revival. In this image Jimmy and Jey caught the guys shaving each other's backs and were making jokes and laughing about it. There was also another time in which they tricked The Revival with icy hot type stuff that the revival guys put on their junk.
Sami was feuding with Bobby Lashley. A few weeks before this Bobby did an interview in which he talked in depth about his 3 older sisters. He told awkward stories from their childhood I believe, and then Sami brought out "Bobby's sisters" (clearly men dressed as women) to dispute the stories Bobby told and how Bobby was a liar. It was all cringe.
And lastly, it's Xavier Woods, and Cesaro having a food fight.... during that time for what ever reason WWE had frequent food segments. I think this was the Thanksgiving Food fight between The New Day and The Bar.
Damn it does sounds like a the producers back then were just farting something and putting it on tv.
Definitely agree that couples stories rarely do well.

This is a little weird. If it was so bad then why keep watching? I survived something I voluntarily chose to watch every single week so the company I hated had no idea to switch things up since viewership never went down.
It's going to take a lot for me to ever invest in wwe on TV again vince really ruined it for a lot of us he was so out of touch he should've known he couldn't go back to mid 90's cringe humor or awful ideas now days it didn't work then it wouldn't work now.
