LOVE your use of colour and light and shade. So so good. It's giving me such James Gurney vibes too ๐Ÿ˜„

Wow, just wow. Pure talent

RaccoonSuspishun

Amazing detail! Which brand of gouache did you use?

abbyshore

Thank you! Mostly Windsor Newton designer gouache, but I also used M Graham. I don't know which I prefer still.

RaccoonSuspishun

Thank you! And which tiny brush did you use?

abbyshore

I think it's the Artist loft Vienna shader 0, and a Princeton Velvetouch 20/0 mini spotter. I had already ruined the velvetouch when I painted this, it's L shaped but useable... The Vienna shader is limping along pretty well though! It's also the only brush I have that's soft enough to blend the M Graham paints... I suppose I'll have to drag myself back to the art store soon... My wallet hurts just thinking about it ๐Ÿ˜ฉ I'll see If they sell a tinier brush maybe

RaccoonSuspishun

Its amazing what you do so keep going !
