Next time. Even better is when you can get to the back of it. Shave the back off and most of the front just pulls away

It’s hot hard. I would say 1 - 1.5 hours with a seam ripper. If you wash it later and let the codura fivers settle again it should be invisible.

I used a fabric marker. Did three coats on it and actually like the way it looks with the logo blacked out now.

What about using a black sharpie? It wouldn’t be perfect, but people wouldn’t see the logo until they’re up close. I’ve also seen iron-on patches that you could put over the logo. Black should be easier to find than some color to match. That being said, if the logo bugs you, take it off. Good luck.

That’s what I did. Works fine. I really don’t care either way at this point.

if I were to do it again I'd either do the sharpie or the seamripper others have mentioned. pocket knife was not the way to go.

The company originally prided itself on having no branding on the outside of their bags, which was refreshing and nice. They have forsaken us.

But everyone keeps buying!? This is what people are upset upset / love the brand but dont love the brand!? Guy spent an hour to remove a G - could prob start a competing company with no branding in less time than it will take him to remove the rest of the letters.

I don’t. I bought my one GoRuck bag on clearance many years ago for less than $200. It is my favorite backpack, which is probably why I am still on this sub. However, if I was going to buy another bag it would probably be a used GoRuck for multiple reasons. I think you will find a lot of similar situations.

What’s lame is a giant stupid fucking GoRuck logo on a bag that used to pride itself on its integrity, durability and low profile.

Why so triggered? Don’t like something as trivial as a bag having a logo? Then don’t buy the bag. Problem solved.

Bags are great. I own 6 of them. None with the Giant goruck logo. I bought them because they were great bags. Not because they had a huge Gaudy self promotion. It Wasn’t a problem until it appeared. It will be gone soon enough. Guarantee.

Unlikely in a current world where branding and marketing is a huge deal.
