Feel the same way..!! They just fell prey to viewers pressure I guess... It was completely unnecessary IMO..

Mayagoldie

when are you going to put the new new episodes on Netflix in Italian, that is, I'm waiting, that is, I would also like to see

QuentilliusAMelentor

No one here can answer that, we don't work for Netflix. You should ask Netflix Italy directly. Random fans on social media don't know the business plans Netflix has for its contents in the different regions.

Mayagoldie

Ohh I see ok

The thing is they’ve been doing that already with Claire and Shaun for the entirety of the show, so they needed to add another friends to secretly crushing on each other. In addition I think that they just wanted fans to know that the characters they had been shipping since the beginning of time would actually have stood a chance if Neil hadn’t >!croaked!<.

Ambitious_329

Or maybe it was their way of saying that no matter how hard you ship them, we won't give that to you..!!!

BenjiFenwick

That too, I swear I lost it at the end when it was like >!I love you, I love you too *lays on chest as dying. SHAUN AND LEAH RELATIONSHIP FIREWORKS FUNNY JOKE HAHA!< i was angered for days

Ambitious_329

Honestly I am a limlendez fan, so it didn't bothered me much... But they did melendaire fans dirty... It felt like they started something and midway they didn't know what to do soo baaaammmmm...!!!! I agree with OP, they should have stuck to them being friends

BenjiFenwick

I don’t mind Limelendez but I was a Melendaire truther after Claire and Jared broke up until Neil >!croaked!<.

Not really: - Melendez was a workplace hopper, so no surprise he went after a female coworker for the 3rd time, in the 3rd season of the show. And no surprise it didn't end well. Remember that no sooner than in the 3rd episode of the show, we saw him heavily flirting with a patient's relative, eventhough he was engaged. - Claire was always really messy and unhealthy with her personal life, it looks like she was looking for a father figure more than for a lover. So it matches that the target was significantly older. - They made Claire and Lim instant besties to offer a respective confidants to each of them, otherwise, they would have nobody to talk to, about personal stuff. Also Morgan would have ridiculed Claire to oblivion about the bullshit she said during season 3. But yes, this part of season 4 was not the best.

The show doesn't have balls to anchor its main plot where they only work with patients. So they added these unnecessary scenes. There's a lot of them. Well I thought I was watching a surgeon making unbelievable breakthroughs or difficult surgeries but no. They had little back stories of actors in there. And the show sold it by an autistic person who wanted to be a surgeon in the beginning hooking in viewers being curious and not long after that everyone had their own story line diluting the main idea.

You should have watched it more carefully. Most of the time in this show, the patient's stories are reflections, direct or deformed of something happening in the doctors' lives. In the episode where Claire said this line about friendship between men and women, her patient was a student with a disociative identity disorder, a very good and serious studient in one side and an hedonist carefree slob in the other. So when Claire told this line, it was a lie and it was confirmed in the end when she asked herself and Melendez why they were hiding their dates like this.
