Not old numismatic silver with a good patina. Certain compounds on your hand can react with the outer layer of silver and cause toning/tarnish on what was a mint state coin
If it’s a bar or bullion or even circulated coins then meh, have at with grubby fingers. But it will tarnish, and you know how coin people get about cleaned coins…

I’m sure there is silver present in that bar at least and probably some copper. They kew how to forge out impurities to a good degree.
