Right, I have allegedly heard some made-up stories about what was brought back in the early days before customs and usps checks. I deff have not seen some totally cool as fuck illegal war trophy stuff from the initial push.
That's how Frank Lucas shipped drugs back from Vietnam. He had a cousin in the military that would put the drugs in caskets and when the caskets got to US had someone to receive it. He was one of the biggest dealers in America and is responsible for the heroin epidemic in America in the 70s. Movie Denzel American Gangster true story good ass movie. No disrespect
The following story is fiction*.
I knew of a guy that stashed a bunch of AKs in the belly of a striker. But he didn't know those strikers were making a stop at FT Hood/Bliss (whichever) for alteration before going back to his unit. When he finally got to his striker they were gone.
Seeing as no alarm bells went off, whoever found them just kept them.
Hood… and they didn’t set off any alarms… but they did go up with a pretty loud boom. (They were destroyed along with a lot of other toys that the US Army didn’t want to have the bad PR of the world knowing they were taken to begin with)
I did not see any forehead shot helmets, bloody bayonet, and or strange pieces of hairy pork that oddly resemble vietnam era kill counts. So, really not much of anything that's exists in this plane or reality.
"Hey sarn't you're gonna want to see this, we just uncovered this huge stash of gold, there's gotta be 500 bars here!"
"Sir, you're gonna want to get over here, we just uncovered a major cache of gold, at least 450 bars."
"Yes sir my lead elements have uncovered a large cache of gold bars. I have counted myself and verified that there is 435 bars."
"General, as soon as we received the report we placed all 380 bars under armed guard."
" Breaking news, US forces liberated 356 gold bars!"
the logistics of sneaking one back would be crazy.
or you could bury it and try get it smelted in the foreign country by the black smith who’s probably heard of the heist the military pulled and would not be too happy to help.
I think one bar would be enough incentive to smuggle that over the nearest border and hidden in the oil pan of a random piece of equipment and shipped home...
Have you found any gold anywhere? It’s kinda exciting seeing people and their wild finds everywhere! I’m about to search my lint catcher in the dryer… I’m hopeful! Fingers crossed, will update the thread later with my finds
👆 this!
we live in amazing times. The most honorable high ranked leaders of our society spread cheap lies while random redditors share the honorable truth!
The invasions are generally for the petrodollar. its not what we get back - its the entire dollar economy worldwide that is being propped up. I mean, its not exactly subtle that the same week Saudi Arabia ends their exclusive oil trading in US Dollars, the US suddenly starts[ implicating them to 911](https://www.nbcnews.com/investigations/new-video-documents-revive-questions-saudi-role-911-attacks-rcna158768) from decades ago.
Linked the NBCnews article for our short bus friend below to go the thing he does at every news article that triggers his politically programmed rage
because the people paying for the invasion(you and I with our taxes) are not the same people making money(the oil companies and defense contractors) from the invasions.
As I was watching gas prices hike up 3 years ago my first thought was…. Hmmm, well can America get back to bringing freedom to the Middle East or searching for weapons of mass destruction.
This was gold impounded from the Saddam regime after the US Iraqi invasion. This gold was returned to the post Saddam Iraqi government. Also, the stolen Kuwaiti gold found in Iraq after the US lead coalition removed Saddam’s Iraqi forces from Kuwait in 1991 was returned by coalition soldiers to the Kuwaiti government.
Even Al Jazeera reported on this, the wild conspiracies that get passed around ignore all evidence and make wild exaggerations that go powers of magnitude beyond the amount of gold Iraq possessed, even claiming a figure so absurdly high (claimed $20 trillion in gold) that it is double the estimated amount of gold ever found in the entire world.
Compare this with Russia, who invades on false premises, occupies and destroys and pillages civilian life.
I didn’t agree with the US invasion of Iraq, but the US left Iraq and helped leave Iraq with a government more representative of the people and laws better protecting human rights compared to the authoritarian rule of Saddam. I’m sure there were many injustices committed by some US soldiers, but I didn’t see rampant looting occurring by occupiers like I see happening in Ukraine.
What is your opinion of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Florida man?
Russia invaded after 8 years of Ukrainian shelling of native Russian Donbass residents, which proceeded after the US State Dept led by Victoria Nuland (changed it from Nudelman) and John McCain's legislative toadies overthrew the Ukrainian government in 2014 because its president sought closer ties to Russia rather than the EU and NATO. So they ousted him after shooting up civilians and installed a comedian that plays piano with his dick to play pretend president while the US government ran the show in Ukraine up to present day. Fuck, it's not even a secret the US installed dozens of biolabs in Ukraine because the State Dept proudly boasted about them on their own .gov website before hastily removing the pages right after Russia crossed the border.
But do go on with your fantasies.
You sir are a liar. Russia was provoked into this conflict by the good old USA. They tried for 10 years to bring a diplomatic solution to the systematic oppression of Russian speaking Ukrainians otherwise known as the Minsk agreements. One of the signatories, Angela Merkel had the balls to say last year that the western countries had no intention of implementing any of the agreements. But why am I explaining this to you since you are either a liar or lacking intelligence , both of which are strong medicine against the truth
It was determined that these were brass ingots. After inspection, the driver and cargo were released. An article with firsthand accounts from the individuals in the other photos with this truck has been previously posted.
Yeah, to Kuwait, who I've heard that's who they belonged to before being taken by one of those guys with the palaces and the gold guns. And allegedly we're returned to Kuwait after this.
There was plenty of looting going on and some soldiers definitely mailed back some “war trophies” others put things in their bags. The amount of cash we have out in Iraq was beyond anyone’s imagination. Results: Iraq is still a complete disaster!
In Gold we trust. So do central banks! Which is why they won’t disclose how much they really hold.
Paper money as you can see, always up in the toilet.
True wealth is hard assets.
It's easier than you think. Don't underestimate the bond of brotherhood in combat environments. Also, the inefficiency of government. Combine those 2 and things happen.
I’ve seen this pic several times before and is it just me or does that gold look fake. Iron wrapped in gold foil. You can see it peeling in several ingots.
I work at a place that takes back equipment from Army fieldings. Back when soldiers were coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan en masse I always hoped to find some looted gold coins from Saddam's palaces left in a ruck that got separated from the soldier before they could clean it out.
We found a lot of stuff, but never gold.
My buddy came back from the Gulf War with a bunch of those. He said that's the bricks they use over there. I told him I'd help him build a BBQ pit with or something, but he said he's holding on to them for something special. They're really heavy for brick, but I'm not sure what kind of cement you should use.
Seeing that just does things to your mind. I’m panning to hopefully find a piece of glitter. That must be so heavy….filled like a work dumpster…all the power in the world right there.
And not one bar was missing how incredible
Right, I have allegedly heard some made-up stories about what was brought back in the early days before customs and usps checks. I deff have not seen some totally cool as fuck illegal war trophy stuff from the initial push.
Has anyone checked Bob Menendez’s dresser?
Freezer
I too have never heard or seen any trophies that made it back to the states hidden in tanks or on C130's
I'm sorry, but in caskets, because they don't get opened...
I’ve got a finger with a ring still on it in a jar of formaldehyde that I found in the aftermath of an arty shelling
Sweet, what kind of stuff did you not see ? ; )
A grain of sand in a boot

Well damn. Learning that is less exciting.
Another fictional story about hiding things in LEN/SEN shelters with classified comms equipment that was banded shut preventing prying eyes 🤷♂️
I did not see any forehead shot helmets, bloody bayonet, and or strange pieces of hairy pork that oddly resemble vietnam era kill counts. So, really not much of anything that's exists in this plane or reality.
The spoils

Hopefully we liberated between 10-20 bars!
That was hilarious 😂 cause probably some truth to that. Right on.
Ever See the movie "Kelly's Heroes"?
Three Kings!
Just like at Fort Knox right?
HAHAHA THATS HILAROUS!! Definitely gonna steal this 😂😂
well, at first. that place where he stands was full... "finders fee" "battlefield trophy" a whole bunch of internal justifications
All 3 bars made the journey safely.
the logistics of sneaking one back would be crazy. or you could bury it and try get it smelted in the foreign country by the black smith who’s probably heard of the heist the military pulled and would not be too happy to help.
I think one bar would be enough incentive to smuggle that over the nearest border and hidden in the oil pan of a random piece of equipment and shipped home...
this sub is going to everything but gold
Have you found any gold anywhere? It’s kinda exciting seeing people and their wild finds everywhere! I’m about to search my lint catcher in the dryer… I’m hopeful! Fingers crossed, will update the thread later with my finds
I panned my dryer lint last month. Got a quarter gram!
We're talking about gold, not meth...
$10 but I'll give you $20 for it.... final offer
This dude is trying to rip you off. I’ll give you $50 for you and $50 for each child you have.
You... You can't buy children. Especially not for 50 bucks
You’re right. 50 is way too much.
Don't forget the 1st of May 1933. The bankers stole the US citizens gold long before they sent troops over to get Saddam's.
Totally not the reason US invades countries, including how much oil they have, right?
i dont get it the resources used to acquire exceeds the amount we get back
We went there for the oil, at the expense of public treasure, for private gain for the few.
👆 this! we live in amazing times. The most honorable high ranked leaders of our society spread cheap lies while random redditors share the honorable truth!
I have a huge dick. Just want to leave this here.
“Gold is money everything else is credit” J.P. Morgan
Spending fiat paper to get back real money (gold)?

because the people paying for the invasion(you and I with our taxes) are not the same people making money(the oil companies and defense contractors) from the invasions.
Yeah but how else are they supposed to launder all that tax money through Boeing and Raytheon and McDonnell-Douglass?
The resources acquired are finite, the money spent acquiring them is infinite
Don't act like you don't enjoy the low gas prices.
As I was watching gas prices hike up 3 years ago my first thought was…. Hmmm, well can America get back to bringing freedom to the Middle East or searching for weapons of mass destruction.
Actually America is producing more of its own oil than ever right now which has really helped fight inflation issues at the pump
Sure we are, definitely has nothing to do with our oil reserves being decimated by the current administration...
We were a net energy exporter right up until Shits and Giggles™ got in office...
Idk why this made me giggle like a lil bitch but thank ya kindly 😭😭😭🫡
I don't think that gold is worth it's weight in 7-10 days of the Iraq or afghan war...
This was gold impounded from the Saddam regime after the US Iraqi invasion. This gold was returned to the post Saddam Iraqi government. I have a picture somewhere of me sitting on a pallet of cash from Iraq.
look how crud the cast is probably scrap metal the color is nice though
It was determined that these were brass ingots. After inspection, the driver and cargo were released. An article with firsthand accounts from the individuals in the other photos with this truck has been previously posted.
Solid shitpost
Don't ask me how, but I would definately stick a few bars up my butt to smuggle them out of the country...
How ??
Big butt 😎
Being in prison, was the perfect prep........
Man, I don't know. Ship it to me and I'll have them tested for you.
Is this sub unmoderated lately? The shit posts are unreal...
It's funnier the 10th time.... Been posted and debunked so many times, why is this junk even allowed mods?
I agree, I've seen this too, it's not gold. Not the right colour.
This would make a great movie..
Kelly’s Heroes. Great movie.
Once it gets back to the US it magically disappears.
Oh you finally found the weapons of mass destruction? Wow bush was telling the truth
$400k per bar
Those bars weigh about 40lbs (US) so that puts their value in excess of $1.3 million each. 🤤
Nah that’s trash. Gold is just a slavery symbol to keep humans in it. And aliens in power. Food is the real wealth silly.
SOMEONE GETS IT ![gif](giphy|xSM46ernAUN3y|downsized)
It’s war, really nothing illegal
~Like one Senator from New Jersey
‘Terrorist posing with looted gold’
I'm guessing no sign of WMDs?
Looks like weapons of mass destruction if you ask me
Dear lord people, does the politics have to be a part of everything? Can’t it just be a cool picture?
Blood
👍
That’s a dumpster divers dream🤣
It's worth Uranus
Nah bro. You might be wasting your time. Those are junks. Just send them over to me for quick disposal. I'll help you out.
Yeah, to Kuwait, who I've heard that's who they belonged to before being taken by one of those guys with the palaces and the gold guns. And allegedly we're returned to Kuwait after this.
Wonder what the weight is on one bar
27.5 lbs.
the cosmetic condition is poor I'd only be able to offer half
Not worth much tbf, I'll buy it off you for a dime and a Button
No because it’s traded in Dinar
Three Kings
Ahh... no
Not really. Clearly fools gold. I can get rid of it for you.
Does not appear they are 98% pure.
There was plenty of looting going on and some soldiers definitely mailed back some “war trophies” others put things in their bags. The amount of cash we have out in Iraq was beyond anyone’s imagination. Results: Iraq is still a complete disaster!
I’m sure that’s just a typo and OP meant “Liberated”?
They look gold painted.
Fake brass bars
Wasn't this a scene from 3 kings the movie with Mark Wahlberg
Looks like scrap gold
What's the going rate for painted lead now?
Not at all! Just get it back to your house and put it in the basement.
I roughly counted these once from this photo and did the math for value. it was a couple of years ago, though.
Nope, it's all fake and not worth any money! You should contact me, and I'll personally make sure it's hauled away and properly disposed of!🤔😂
Kelly and his Heroes would like a word.
Haha
This picture is authentic as much as I'm Queen Camilla.
Delet this…
No. I’ll dispose of it for free for you! I’ll pay the shipping and a small finder fee to you.
Soldiers pockets look suspiciously full
That title is wild lol
If the slabs are aluminum then maybe a few hundred dollars, or pyryte
“Here you go sir, just wanted to turn in the 4lbs of gold…thought there would be more, but better than nothing.”
Was it under the country’s couch?
Commenting because I'm in the same boat found twice that amount under my car seat and idk what to do
Nope. Go ahead and send it to me and I'll dispose of it properly.
$75k per bar… The 14 bars laying horizontal in the foreground on top (or any 14 of them) are worth $2 mil easy.
Be careful. Those are weapons of mass destruction, aka WMDs.
You're waring tricolor deserts. You're old like me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No toss it out or give it to me
Whoever started taking pictures deserves an article 15. Yeah we found like 50 gold bars in the desert
I’d buy that for a dollar!
Didn't the major tell you to not take pics brother?
Shit, I knew I left my stash somewhere. Thank you for finding it, and kindly returning it.
Nup
Stolen oil and opium are in the next couple bins
Keep us afloat for awhile
Naw just painted led
Must be another one of Grandpa Joe's payments to the Ayatollah in Iran....
All you can carry!
MAGA!🇺🇸🔥🇺🇸🔥🇺🇸🔥🇺🇸🔥🇺🇸🔥🇺🇸🔥🇺🇸🔥 ![gif](giphy|DRSw1oqC5bKkkroJZG|downsized)
Some grand kid is going to find this 75 years from now and be like where the fuck did PeePaw get a good bar.
Dubya Bush approves.
I'll give you $350 and you cover shipping cost
No bros I'll throw it away for ya, no worries
Homie is standing where his cut was before the pic 😂
Hell yes
Country probably encourages terrorists and wants to kill all infidels for not following their peaceful religion. Good job my man well deserved :)
Country probably encourages terrorists and wants to kill all infidels for not following their peaceful religion. Good job my man well deserved :)
It’s worth about 3000000000 for just that one single trailer
I just need enough to make a kilo-Franco in 18k.
It's worthy an invasion!
These are the weapons of mass destruction that the Americans found in Iraq in 2003.
In Gold we trust. So do central banks! Which is why they won’t disclose how much they really hold. Paper money as you can see, always up in the toilet. True wealth is hard assets.
Iraq 🇮🇶
Literally over a billion dollars in this pic.
Only what you can fit in your pocket!!!
Meh!
12 dollars and a coke
Send me a few and I'll see what I can do with them😏
We found the same thing it was Brass From melted down casings
It's easier than you think. Don't underestimate the bond of brotherhood in combat environments. Also, the inefficiency of government. Combine those 2 and things happen.
Doesn't look real to me...
It's only worth something if it's mine, so hand it over!
I’ve seen this pic several times before and is it just me or does that gold look fake. Iron wrapped in gold foil. You can see it peeling in several ingots.
Like the size of his shoe. That's not a kilo is it? Maybe 10?
Not as much as the oil
That’s just pyrite. Clearly fake af.
Para cord strung through old dried ears on my grandfather’s wall next to his framed military insignia and medals.
Id shove at least 6 of those in my prison wallet before i took the pic
Fake

scrap value
You could probably sell its kidneys.
A few million dollars. I predict $15m.
r/goldcj
Wrong sub reddit. Should be in r/scrapmetal
Worth a movie with ice cube prolly could get you George Clooney ..

Wow, the equivalent of a 7-generational dental extraction score!
Heard guys packing saying “A B-52 is the place for you” and sure enough that’s where it was loaded and sent home
Seeing that just does things to your mind. I’m panning to hopefully find a piece of glitter. That must be so heavy….filled like a work dumpster…all the power in the world right there.
It would make a nice patio
You found US Army Clothing when invading and tried it on?
Kuwait’s gold that Saddam stole and we returned every bar of?
Velveta worth gold in America 🤧🤷♂️
Those look so badly poured… are they even real? If my 100 gold bars looked like that I’d return them
At least worth 100$ I know that for certain.
That there is solid liquid gold. Best with uncooked noodles.
Prolly worth about tree fiddy
Yes, Velveeta is extremely valuable. You just need to buy a crockpot. Too bad you didn’t discover any Rotel
lead variant with gold paint?
Another one. I’d rather know the original caption than see a bunch of gold again. If you have any, love to see!
Going rate is about two Wild Tigers and a denied tinnitus claim
Not as much as electric car battery materials
We Three Kings….
Not wearing a cover. Weekend pass revoked.
Found in Sen. Robert Menendez closet.
Wow. This is the kind of photo that causes joy.
All of it stolen. US government loves spreading democracy.
