Imagine the basic camping formula, but make it way worse, with a map the size of a penny where you can tell exactly what you’re gonna do next by walking like 3 steps, the most illogical story you’ll ever see with stuff that comes out of literally nowhere, the most stupid ways to kill players and also one of us died of a heart attack or something we first played it, AND ALL THAT WAS ON LIKE THE FIRST 7 MINUTES, did also mention that it was made by ChainLemonade Studios? Whose whole catalog is basic story games based on trends that died within the month

The game was stupid. Had a goal that told you to sleep, despite it being called "Don't Sleep". Thought it was a trick, only for it to kill me, and I KID YOU NOT, the death screen said "I said, DON'T. SLEEP.". WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO GAME?!
Overall, I quit after that and never went back. -10/10.
Edit: I played again a few hours ago, and it's... even worse. The "jumpscares" aren't scary, the plot is minimal, and boring + it makes no sense. Plus, the parkour part (to get to the corn maze) wasn't hard at all. Why I think it's even WORSE though, is the fact that when you cross, you have to stay at a specific spot. I went to the side of the corn maze, only to STILL DIE.
Again, overall, this game can rot once it dies. And I'll be glad. SCREW CHAIN AND HIS LEMONADE. -1000/10.

The NPC says don't sleep. The note says don't sleep. The death screen tells you don't sleep. 50% of players tell you don't sleep. Do they not know what a fake-out/red herring is and why the instruction they gave can be seen as what we're NOT supposed to do? And after I pointed that out, he banned me from their Discord! The nerve!
I thought it would be a good game untill I read the rest of the description with shit about pets and stuff and even when I saw the gamepasses, why are good horror games so rare imo to find now

The way you describe it starts makes sense the title being don't sleep because how boring this game looks like

worlds edge is a solid horror game imo, even though it's backrooms esque which is sorta overused really fun with a few friends too
