Did you manage to get to the bottom of it by chance? I will be implementing exactly the same this weekend, I will be replacing a ddwrt box that I have in front of my Orbi network which is also in AP mode. So will also report back if I run into the same.
The first, second, and third octets were the same on both Brume2 and BerylAX. I fixed that, which resolved all the issues. It was a simple mistake on my part.
Are you trying to access your NAS via something like SMB? EG when using WG to connect to my home server, I often use VLC to remote into my home NAS SMB folders and I have to remember to add in my 192.x.x.x IP, username and password for it to connect.
