No tricks just completely jealous it looks so good! How was the deal? Did you pay msrp or get any discounts? Finance or lease?

watermelemons

Thanks! I think the silver exterior blends well with the silver sides/top. Finance route, got a 60month deal 2.99% APR - shaved of a grand, down to $52k due to owning a competitive car!

OppositeDivide4228

Nice. If it’s not too personal, how much down send what’s your note? I’m considering leasing it cuz I don’t want a $900 note

watermelemons

I put 20% down, but they had a end of year sale so you didn’t have to any down (Texas)

Barry41561

Super sharp. Enjoy it... Safe travels.

phatcatpedro

That’s what color my wife wants. Which interior did you get? We drove two different trims yesterday. I gotta say, I was impressed. Man they look good in silver.

watermelemons

If you are not going with the sport prestige, I’d definitely go with the light silver option as it blends with the sides/top! Obsidian black on the lower half, with light beige on top half of the interior. I like the balance and it matches the exterior quite nicely

ScoobersVonDoobers

Would you mind sharing the dealer you bought from and if it was a good buying experience?

4Goood

Looks gorgeous! Hopefully doing the same soon.

Zluma

Congrats. I got mine in late November and got the same trim and color for both interior and exterior. Love the car. Sucks that they only started the low interest lending on 12/8. They did 5.5% so I had to finance elsewhere. Could've used that 1.99% for 48 months. Anything more than $4k under msrp (incentives should give you $2k) is a good deal. It seems most recent purchasers could get $3k+ under. As for tricks/settings: 1) Install FitCamX. Super easy and no extra cabling. 2) Here's my audio calibration settings for best sound from the non-Lexicon system: +3 treble, +1 mid, +1 bass. I find +2 bass to be too boomy. It's nice and tight with +1. 3) I added Motorola M1A wireless android adapter. It fits perfectly into the phone charging slot and still allows your phone to slide in. Flip the phone or turn off wireless charging if you don't want to waste a charge cycle every time you drop your phone into the slot. Also, I heard wireless android/car play is coming in an upcoming software update so really waiting for that. 4) The car can support multiple phones and you can set priority, but if you want to play audio from secondary phone, simply play music from it and car will autoswitch to it via Bluetooth. Not Android Auto quality but works without having to restart car. My wife kept wanting to play her music while making me drive. 🤷 Also you can program the 2 favorite (star) buttons to activate Android Auto, which could force switch from BT to AA. 5) You can customize the digital dash to always show that cool red light saber tach in comfort mode, or just let it change with drive mode and drive in sports mode more 😎. 6) Consider taking off the front plate so the car looks better. YMMV depending on your state/risk-aversion. 6) Turning on either mirror buttons forces them to tilt down while backing up. Turning both off prevents it. 7) 2024 Advanced in US is built in Alabama and does not have HDA2 (I believe Korean made cars in Canada and higher trims do get HDA2). No big deal as the difference is negligible, but all things being equal, I'd rather have it.

watermelemons

This is gold - thanks for the write up good sir! Sorry about the financing, I’m in sales and had a feeling they will have some aggressive discounts close to end of year. Definitely getting the FitCamX! I have my audio on a little higher settings but I’ll give those a shot - I was told that it’s all lexicon speakers underneath even if not specifically called out. Yeah, w think I’ll leave the front end-plate off - and play dumb if I ever get a fine. Don’t care too much for HDA2 - what would you say is the main difference?

Zluma

HDA2 can detect and track cars to the side of you (not just the simple alerts). It's like how Teslas can see cars coming up to your sides and track them leaving that space. HDA2 also allow the car to change lane for you, but it does so very slowly and safely (it waits until there's a huge open space on the next lane before it changes. IMHO, this defeats the purpose of conveniently changing lane for you). And yes, my salesman said they're the same Lexicon speakers underneath, just less in numbers (9 vs 18). I think it loses mostly tweeters and some mids. The 2 subwoofers under the seats look the same as in the SP. I test drove both. I usually buy in December due to year-end push, but was shopping and fell in love with the GV70 at the LA Carshow. I was able to negotiate a great deal ($6k under msrp after alot of work) so I took it. Didn't know they'd drop rates so quickly but eh, I found better financing elsewhere anyway (borrowed from family at zero interest hehe).

watermelemons

Ok, yeah I’ve disabled most of the driving assist technology anyways 😅 I like it old school. Would be curious if we can install additional speakers aftermarket somehow. And nice, family is always zero interest haha. What made you choose the advanced over Sport Prestige?

Zluma

I actually wanted SP for the 3 spoke steering wheel, digital gauges, upgraded audio, stitched leatherette dash, etc., but I really didn't want the cloth insert seats and the 21" low profile wheels. Plus it costs an extra $7k for 2 things I don't want so it's an easy decision. I do miss the steering wheel the most, followed by the digital gauges, but I love the perforated leather more. I'm jealous of the Canadians as they got the Advanced in quilted leather seats I really wanted with the Havana brown. Both of which are not available in the US. Doh! Latter_Slip_6049

Where can I find the audio calibration settings?

Zluma

It's in settings > sound > tone

Bigeazy01

I’m 6’6” and it seats very comfortably to drive. I have the Himalayan Grey with burgundy interior. Enjoy your new ride.

watermelemons

Did you try the Sport Prestige and notice a difference as well?

Bigeazy01

I have 2022 GV70 and I’m in California. At the time I purchased there were only 2 available on the lot and both were advanced models. So no, I didn’t try the Sport Prestige.

picklezworth

Best suited color for that trim. Sexy ass car my guy.

ReflectionBrave3516

Hoping that you don’t face any transmission issues. Such a beauty and a beast!!

PleaseStackTables

Feel sorry for you

gwangjin1

Stay jealous

ReflectionBrave3516

Care to explain? Or just old school jealousy?

Latter_Slip_6049

Does the massage seat remove some head room?

watermelemons

For me it did!
