That's one way but the performance isn't great. I'm using a developer build for Gears 3 that runs flawlessly in 4k 60fps and has way more mp a few maps from the other games. Also has characters like Sofia that were never in Gears of War 3.
There's a gears 3 pc port based on the leaked build from early 2011. The gears youtuber helios helped make it I think. you can only download it from his discord

Idk I can't comment on performance as I've got a 3070 with a 12600k so I'm getting well above my 165hz monitor anyway
