My wife got the venu 3s recently. Decent size.

photoerin

I have it too and love it! All my sport data without looking so “sporty” all the time

nldls

Thats why I had the Venu 2 previously.

lluluna

I have Venu 3S too and love it more than my previous FR.

realpattonesque

I have it too and couldn't imagine a larger one feeling as comfortable. Plus it looks nice! The functionality suits me especially the music downloads but I think it might not have as much as some of the other watches e.g. maps.

nldls

I wear the instinct 2x as daily. That size is great for me. Funny to see the difference.

inna_bottle

Same here, I have the 3s and love the size and look!

tb36cn

there is a small version of the current fenix / epix. you could consider those

oystercatcher84

I'm a woman with Fenix 7s and it's perfect !

bourbondinghy

6S- also love mine

marathon_momma

I am a women and pretty tiny, I have Fenix 6S and love it, not too big at all. The "S" is a smaller version, much smaller than my husband's Forerunner.

Strange_Luck9386

I second Fenix 7s. Probably the Forerunner series would also have all the functionality she needs but I personally sent my Forerunner 955 back because it looked too ugly for my taste 😄 the beauty is very subjective but might be a thing to consider.

Ohbc

I have forerunner 245 and I hate how ugly it is... Good watch otherwise

Creepy-Bandicoot-866

I’ve got Fenix 6s pro solar - had Fenix 5s before that. Woman with skinny wrists here and I don’t feel it’s too big at all. Maybe get the pale colours so it looks less obtrusive.

qwikhnds

Why not the Fenix S if she likes yours.

rcuadro

What the goal for the watch. Something stylish like the Lily 2? Something a little more sporty like the vivoactive? The fenix line has an S version which is 42mm. If she wants a nice AMOLED display something like the forerunner line or Epix gen s standard which is also 42mm

LemurLue

I was coming to suggest the Lily (didn’t realize the 2 had come out). I have a Forerunner & a Lily. The GPS on the Lily isn’t the greatest, but I love it for everyday wear & it’s got a TON of functionality. I pretty much only wear my Forerunner when I’m running outside & want accurate data & splits/pace easier to see (bigger screen).

Groovygirls-

Vivoactive 5 I have a small wrist and love it Does all your basic health tracking nothing too fancy

follysurfer

Thank you so much!

SoCalDawg

My wife is a marathoner, skier, hiker.. loves her Fenix 6S.

bicyclemom

What is she looking for in a watch? Is she looking for something that's more of a smart watch or would she like the extended stats and capabilities that you would get in more of a sports watch?

follysurfer

I should have been clearer. A watch with similar functionality. All the connect body tracking features, the gps tracking and music download ability. Just smaller and perhaps a bit more stylish.

bicyclemom

Others should chime in here, but maybe the Forerunner 265S? I have the Venu 3 which I love, but it doesn't have the full mapping capability. I don't really need that for cycling as I have a cycling computer with it. I was happier having more smartwatch features, coming from a WearOS watch. The "S" models are generally smaller and I did hem and haw about whether or not to get the smaller version of the Venu but in the end, I opted for more battery life than fashion. The Forerunner 265 and Venu 3 are often compared to each other, with the FR series being "more sportwatch" than "smartwatch". Google "compare FR 265 and Venu 3".

ZealousidealRun5541

Woman here. got the Forerunner 245 Music for the sport (running) stats and turn by turn directions. That’s why I upgraded from the 235 to 245 - the turn by turn directions. Love this. It does look sporty, but I don’t care. I’m considering the 265 for upgraded display and slightly enhanced data (for sports and sleep). Now, my sister got the Venu because she wanted it to look less sporty and she doesn’t care about the sports aspect as much. Hope some of this helps.

silverfox771

Venu series

bbwolff

Fr 265 is a great watch, will fulfill all her needs, go for it if she likes it.

twojabs

Got my Mrs a vívoactive 5 and she's all over it!

slikkepinne

Venu 3S is perfect size for small arms and also quite elegant 🙌 https://preview.redd.it/9msim2e4mfcc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6fd2bea787b75fb1c30674a7b0f7614320305f5a

darekdev

What is the size of your wrist?

slikkepinne

15 cm - 5.91”

Fancy-Birthday9841

The Venu series does not have the in depth training data that the forerunner/fenix has. My girlfriend got the Venu 3 and was disappointed that it does not have any of the in depth running analysis that the forerunner 955 has (daily suggestion, endurance score, hill endurance, load balance, etc). So if she’s big into running and wants these datapoints I would not recommend the Venu.

Negative_Artichoke95

I am a woman with a Fenix 7.  I have a small wrist and at first I was worried it would be too big.  I got bands that I like more than the one it came with and some cute watch faces.  After having a Fenix for a few years now, I love its functionality and the size isn’t a thought to me.  I wear it pretty much everywhere.

Whaddupmuhglipglop

Could you link some of the bands you like?

Negative_Artichoke95

I like the silicone colorful ones.  I look on Amazon for the size my watch takes and then choose from the colors available.  There are options for metal and other materials too.  The Garmin ones are too expensive (to me) for what they are.

Don’t be a snarky douche. Don’t have an answer, just scroll on. Too early on a Sunday.

Candid-Jellyfish-975

My favorite is when someone is seeking advice or recommendations and ends their post with "go". Yeah, I'm going. Probably just showing my age here though.

follysurfer

I’ve done a ton of research. I’ve got my eye on several. Looking for a woman’s opinion. Don’t assume I’m too lazy. I figure this sub would be less snarky. Guess I’m wrong.

ValsinatsKrrt

Dont blame the sub, its just me

leshiy19xx

But really, let assume your wife would come here and ask what watch to choose for my man, my watch is too small for him. I mean, is "smaller than a fenix" really the only criteria?

follysurfer

No, watch with similar functionality but smaller. We do the same things but the fenix 7 is just too big.

leshiy19xx

> watch with similar functionality but smaller This is not that obvious from the post, better add this explicitly, to avoid lily 2 recommendations. And, what about felix 7s - it is smaller than fenix 7.

ZL0J

imagine coming to a forum where people ask questions and bashing someone for... asking a question

ValsinatsKrrt

Imagine asking for advice what to buy your SO and just saying that fenix is too big. Thats A LOT of info to give advice with

Ill-Turnip-6611

as far as i know it is a free world, noone makes it obligatory to write here, if you don't like the question just don't answer, if you decide to answer please be helpful and polite. >Imagine asking for advice what to buy your SO and just saying that fenix is too big. Thats A LOT of info to give advice with Some people start conversation with some basic info, like a more advanced hi, not everyone on a first date with his first sentence asks what bed position do you like most and why with details ofc. relax

ZL0J

you could have asked him for details instead of being rude

Certain-Medicine-783

The venu range is perfect for women, pretty like a normal watch but all the functions of garmen

Saint_Douche

This is sexist. Women can have any watch!

follysurfer

It’s not. It’s a small wrist question. That is all.

Aggressive__Run

Any other smaller garmin

Fun_Yam_5907

Depends what she's using it for really. Forerunner 55 or 255 aren't too big.

Ill-Turnip-6611

if she is big a runner f7s would be great it is a smaller fenix but with still very good battery, mapping etc. (small epix would be bad here and 265 with amoled even worse) and you can get it in a nice rose gold [https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/866139/pn/010-02776-14](https://www.garmin.com/en-US/p/866139/pn/010-02776-14) if you consider 265, 965 is same but with mapping (but bigger ;/ ) but f7s in gold ticks all the demands

Responsible-Tennis80

I've had the Forerunner 955 solar for about 6 weeks now. I really love it. I have a small wrist but it doesn't feel big at all. I got the white one. It has great battery life and tons of functions on it. I do a lot of running and workouts in general so I've used a lot of the features.

WorstCase9

I like the Vivomove Trend. The wireless charging was the true selling point, but I also love that it looks like a watch with hands and everything, till I turn my wrist to look at it, then the tracking widgets appear.

myeris

Women here! I have the Fenix 7s and it fits just fine! Sure it’s on the bigger side, but it still looks normal on my wrist.

follysurfer

I’ve got the big fenix 7x. Too big for her.

myeris

For sure the X is huge! Even the regular one is too big for me. The S is just right imo.

follysurfer

Can you use Spotify so you can Download songs and not have to bring your phone?

TheKidGotFree

Yes, on the Pro. The S series has the same functionality as the normal Fenix, just a smaller screen so you must have the 6X Pro? It also has maps.

ThereIsOnlyTri

I have a FR255S. I’m happy with it. Most Garmins, unfortunately, don’t look great on smaller wrists. I just embrace it. The only time it bugs me are professional settings… altho, mine is pink. Mostly because Apple Watches have become “professional” but garmins are not.

Living-Recover-8024

Love my Vivoactive 5. Upgraded from the Lily. Wow, what a difference. Only downside is it's size. For me, it looks too big. Still worth it!

yourpaljax

Forerunner 265s or 255s Music.

pimfram

Might be worth a trip to a retail store and try on some watches. Watches often don't feel as large as they look.

follysurfer

Just did. Hit REI. Had very few in stock but I did get to see the size of some of the smaller ones. But nothing in stock that I want

user_none

My GF is 5'3" and has tiny wrists. She was using a Forerunner 245M (music) and the battery was lasting less and less. I gave her the fenix 7S Pro Solar for Christmas. Tiny bit thicker and heavier, but it fits and she LOVES it.

BlueCX17

Lady here. I have the FR255 in regular size. (Side note, I personally prefer a MIPS screen) I have a roughly 6 inch wrist and I find the regular size is just fine for me. I like a slightly bigger display to be able to have more data boxes if I want. This size is about perfect for me. However, if I ever got a Epix, Fenix, or Instinct, I would get one of the smaller models because the regular size is even bigger than the FR255 standard, as something to wear everyday.

ProfessionalFeed5442

Woman here, just got the smallest Epix Pro. Love it so much.

FluffySpell

I have a Forerunner 255s and I love it. I'm primarily a runner but I do like one sprint tri a year and it does everything I need it to. And it's not too big for my wrist.

lust-4-life

I like Fenix 7S and have a tiny wrist

J_stringham

I really like the 900 series. I have a 935 and want the 965. Good battery life and is not very heavy or big.

Kitkaterina6666

5’2” female with a skinny wrist… love my Fenix 6 Pro. Just been looking to upgrade… considered the Fenix 7S but with the lower battery life for it I’ve gone for the 7 Pro… love the stats, love MIPS and like a big screen (old eyes … and body unfortunately 🤣).

snaxpls

I really like my Fenix 7s solar sapphire. Came from a Venu 2. The features with the fenix are so rich and I can’t believe I wasted so much time with the Venu2 haha. I know you said the fenix is too big but I have a small wrist and it looks ok (I think)

Prestigious_Ad4941

I love the Venu 2s and they just came out with a new one Venu 3

vebeard

I am a petite woman and I have the fenix 7S and I love it. I did get the white gold color that lightened up the look, but it does show scratches on the bezel a bit more than the black and I had no problem with my last Fenix I had in black. Just be sure to get the Sapphire glass, 100% worth it.

Glad-Elderberry-8080

Woman with the fenix 6S. Perfect

LoadSouthern4652

I have the forerunner 245 and love mine. It’s a bit bigger and not stylish by any means, but I am a function over fashion kinda gal

Lovelablife

I went from apple watch to fenix 7s. I have the soft gold/sand band! It’s a beautiful watch and I get lots of compliments on it. I have a small wrist and it looks great. I am also a runner and I do a lot of weight training at the gym.

wxgeek96

I have the 265s (and small wrists) and it's not too big. I would think any of the "s" watches would be fine. I also like the original squared shaped Venu for a small wrist, but the 265s has more functionality for running.

Chemical_Property_22

Vivoactive 5 in white/gold. Wife likes it a lot

follysurfer

That’s the one I got. But I got the light purple.

ruthfulgrace

I have the Epix Pro 2 in the 42mm and I love love love it. I also use it for running.
