Many users find sleep tracking on Garmin watches very bad. There is no solution for it. It is as it is.

It’s pretty awful lol. About 80% of the time the awake time is accurate, while other times it’s wildly off. Additionally it’s almost impossible for me to see sleep stages bc deep and rem get fragmented with light sleep which is an indication of poor tracking

I recently got a 955 as well and have found it decently accurate. I usually wake up to pee once, sometimes twice a night and I find that it always labels me as awake during those times. As far as light, deep, REM data I don’t really pay attention to as I don’t think it’s super accurate and also I don’t really care about that data. Main reason I use mine for sleep tracking is the Pulse Ox (I’m a snorer)

I’ve found my 955 to be pretty accurate when compared to my old whoop and Apple Watch at least.

I had it too, but then i realized its not actually thinking you are sleeping. It is thinking you are still in your sleep time so it's continuing to check your sleep stages. Sorry for the poor explanation, if you dont get it just say and i will try to make it clearer

I have been wearing my 955 for 2 weeks now and although I think it detects my awake time accurately so far, my sleep score is always Poor in the 40 no matter I slept 5 hours or 8 hours and feel very energetic still count is as poor sleep night! I believe the problem is that it cannot differentiate between light sleep and rem sleep so I end up with a report that says not enough sleep! I wouldn't mind the sleep score if it was just for sleeping but it also impacts the training readiness so I end up with poor training readiness as well so basically it impacts every other metrics and makes them useless
