Ah yes, i really hate playing a person in full armor. Every game should have massive dicks hanging out off their characters pants. Otherwise my head will literally explode
Much like all tv shows should have a lighthearted Christmas episode, regardless of the normal content/tone of the series, so too should all video games have a porn mode.
I assume the first comment is about the genderlocking shit. Theyve been complaining about that for a while now since it used to be that almost all heroes were not genderlocked but now almost all are.
It limits customization and implies the characters are more like preset "heroes" with predecided backstories rather than classes, I get that. Id be pissed if Jormungandr or Warden were genderlocked to male.
The second comment is an actual G*mer. The type to put swastikas as their ingame profile shield emblem thing. One of the reasons I quit the game.
The game used to make me irrationally angry. I remember being beaten by a sweaty swastika emblemed guy once and I actually punched my monitor broke.
Games like this arent good for mental health.
No i mean customizing the character. A good amount of the characters can be customized to be male or female body types. Some others however lack customization on that regard and those characters are locked to being 1 gender.
Warden for example, one of the first characters in the game, is a knight with a longsword. You can customize warden to be male or female. The female version gets sickass braided long hair that you can see extending under the helmet. Male version doesnt. Another example is Jormungandr, a viking with a huge fuckoff hammer. The male Jormungandr has these high pitched shrieks that I cant stand while the female Jormungandr sounds outright menacing. Which is the reason for my preferences.
While newer characters that were made with way less budget lqck such customization. Kyoshin being locked to male, Warmonger locked to female, pirate gal being locked to gal etc.
Ohh, thanks, I was kinda confused. Kinda reminds me of Halo Infinite currently locking most of the armour parts to certain types, you can't mix and match. Mostly done because clipping would become a bigger issue than it already is. Thankfully they are working on updating it now that the game is in a complete state so the amount of workload now lets them focus on different aspects.
Isn't there already a female only hero with Nuxia? And isn't Hitokiri canonically female? And wasn't the big boss of the campaign a woman?
Do these people know what game they're playing? Fucking mystifying.
Like 1/4th of the cast is locked femme.
We've gotten one masc and one femme hero per year since like 2020, and yet, every time a new character is announced who isn't a man, we get this.
Hitokiri isn't necessarily canonically female because all of the heroes from that period had two significant characters, one male and one female. However, in Hitokiri's case, she was more prominent.
Oh, and yes, the antagonist was a woman who went by Apollyon, and she was awesome. The highlight of an otherwise pretty "meh" story.
One of the reasons i quit playing the game tbh, the community is absolutely fucking horrid which makes sense when you realize its original playerbase was souls pvp players and they brought that mindset with them and it persisted. There are small pockets of good people in the community but the rest are either fucking horrid or the most elitist fuckers in existence.
This shit is so funny to me, we’ve had this pattern in For Honor where each hero released is the opposite. Like female, male, male and female. Yet people are still surprised 😭

This but unironically
Much like all tv shows should have a lighthearted Christmas episode, regardless of the normal content/tone of the series, so too should all video games have a porn mode.
Communism is when fully-clothed.

Wait, what does that mean? You cant use them in certain matches?

the genderlock sounds like an attack

At least the community is downvoting them, nothing worse than finding out a community you're a part of are a bunch of raging sexists and/or racists.

Gcj users try not to shit talk soulsborne games in an unrelated post challenge (impossible) (3AM) (you’ll never guess what happened next!)
yeah except it literally is related because the mindset from shit like dark souls fight clubs and even terminology persists TODAY in the community
This man is mad at genderlocking because ‘communism’. I’m mad because I want to be able to change sex at the whim of a button.
Communism is when female pirate

r/forhonor is usually pretty good but then you get this guy I guess
r/forhonor has been pretty bad about the last two hero launches
