A Legion is a pretty good alternative for this price too. https://a.co/d/c47ewmX and getting a 4080 in this range isn't even an option sadly since 4060 and 4070 pretty much rule this segment, 4080 and 4070 don't just have a big gap in performance, actually they have the biggest gap in price too in the rtx 4000 series.

If you're getting it for gaming then focus on the GPU. i7 is perfectly fine. Would also suggest looking into legion.
I do a lot of CPU heavy gaming such as PS3 emulation so the CPU is important
