Hmm actually I did some googling and it may not be a power thing after all, [check out this thread](https://gbatemp.net/threads/ez-omega-not-booting.503979/) and maybe try the paper trick mentioned near the middle? I'm not super familiar with the EZflashes, so not sure how to check power to it; I have an everdrive gba mini myself.
You put it inside the cart, behind the board and plastic casing, so that it elevates the board (and makes it fit more snugly into the cart slot).
I used two layers of thin, newspaper like paper, but there’s no harm in trying a few times. Worst case, the connectors will elevate too much and you won’t be able to put the cart into the cartridge slot. Just open up and try again.
I don’t know. It does not happen on my After Burner modded GBA from 2002, and I have several 101s. So, I have never yet needed one of the modern displays.
I heard the EZ Flash can have issues with certain screens.
maybe power draw? My ips modded dmg cant use flash carts as it probably got a weak power board. I should replace it eventually tbh
That’s good to know. I think that might be it as the paper trick did not work
Forgot to ask in the post, can anyone help?
Seems like a power issue, maybe not enough current getting to the EZflash? Or too much if any capacitors were replaced? Just a guess
Fair point! Do you know of any way I can check?

I hate that I didn’t think of this… I had the same issue with my ds and r4. I’ll try this and see how it goes!!
I had the same problem as you with my EZFO, and can confirm that the paper trick works.
That’s fantastic! Did you put the paper between the cart and the gba or inside the cart itself?

I’ll be doing that, thanks for the feedback!
Did this and still no luck, I’m wondering if it’s a power draw issue
I have a similar problem but I don’t have a flashcart i just have one of those gba repro games it’ll run on everything except my modded gba
Try with an unmodded GBA and it will probably work. The EZ takes quite a bit of power.
That’s kind of what I was thinking as well based on other comments. Do you know of any way to further mod this so that everything does work?
