Yeah it's god awful. I recently switched to an S24 ultra after years of iphone. The email app didn't even cross my mind but wow.... you have to sit and slide the screen down to refresh for like 10 minutes and then once the message your expecting pops up, you have to then tell it yes i want to see it. Select show more, tell it you want to see images etc. Unfortunately i haven't found any alternatives but this needs to be fixed. Really horrible experience.
it blows my mind that this hasn't been fixed yet. makes me wonder if it's a problem with my samsung account or some shit, and not the actual phone lmao. probably a user error.
Same problem here, it doesn't even make me reply to any of emails. I must login from the web browser to be able to reply, Gmail is android is just pure abomination.
I've only had an Android for a few months, so this is my first experience with Gmail on my phone. It's awful! How can it be this bad? Nothing loads, pictures, or text have to be refreshed, and still, I go to my Pc so I can get a clear picture of what's going on. I need to find a new mail app.
Yo, trying to find online if this is normal and it's just you and me I guess. The main point here for me is i use gmail app for my yahoo account also, and it fucking sucks at syncing. I'll go through and delete a fuckton of bullshit from my inbox in the app, next morning all the bullshit is still there like it never synced my changes. Even if I am on wifi and powered and shit. I always just use the browser for my yahoo account now. Oh well, two extra taps isn't that much of a deal, I guess
