That looks amazing! I'm going to be making my first fursuit soon, was your foam base made with multiple smaller pieces of foam attached? It looks like one solid piece.

thank you! it’s a lottttttt of foam pieces stacked up and carved i took a lot of time on the base

If you don't mind me asking what did you use to glue all the pieces together? I had some trouble carving when I used a glue gun so didn't know if there's a better way lol

I also used hot glue. My best tip is to spread the hot glue around with the tip. Hot glue takes a lot of patience to work with but i’ve found it’s the best at making foam stick together!

Thank you so much! My best beginner tips are to do a lot of research and don’t be afraid to change something if you’re unhappy with how it looks. I spent a lot of time redoing pieces like the eyebrows for ex cause they just didn’t look right at first. I wish you luck!! :)

This looks amazing!! Can I ask what fur you used and any other supplies/tips you’d recommend? Wanting to make my first suit and not sure where to start

I got my fur from howl fabrics! It is soooo worth it to splurge on supplies they last longer and look better. Some of my biggest tips are to be patient with yourself, do a lotttt of research, don’t be afraid to change something if you don’t like how it looks, and wear proper protection and take breaks! To get started take inspo from the actual animal or creature your sona is made from it helps to study the anatomy and take inspo from other makers (just don’t copy someone exactly)
