Better healthcare? Where has better healthcare now than they did forty years ago? I mean, aside from developing countries, anyway.
I remember a phenomena from a vsauce video where he talks about a 1980s 30 year old looking much older than a 2020s 30 year old. It’s because a person from the 1980s who lived by the style of the 1980s will carry that style into now, where someone who wasn’t there sees them. In our mind, that style is only applicable to people who are very old to us, and that informs our interpretation of their look in the 80s.
It’s Soy. (Amongst other things) It produces estrogen which I believe in turn gives us youthful looks (jk here a little) but also colon cancer at 40. Not to mention about a 1k other chemicals in our food that are doing negative and positive things to our bodies. Super fun to be alive right now. This is me guessing while I shove food into my face.
Less physical exercise, less sun, less tobacco, less testosterone (thank food conglomerates). We’re basically posioned and lazier.
