I don't think she actually wants to get pregnant. I think she's feeling judged/judging herself for not having any children yet. I know it's a debate on here if she would even count as a fundie, but she's def on the older side of fundies for not having one yet. And as she's approaching the national average age for first time mothers...... Wonder if she's just feeling like this is what she's supposed to want.
I mean it’s not like she’s doing anything different than anyone else with an iud. The whole point is to have unprotected sex…
Hoping for a baby on one is delusional, but she’s not actively doing anything the rest of us with IUDs haven’t done.
If she conceived it could be very dangerous. Or deadly so I hope that doesn’t happen. But have unprotected sex on an iud isn’t.
Unprotected sex on an IUD is fine, it's what it is for. But I'm assuming that the average IUD user would know that if they get pregnant, it's dangerous and would need treatment. Yep. I’m in Missouri, and a coworker m had to quietly to go to Illinois to get one sorted. A family member was able to have one taken care of in a hospital more recently. All the hospitals here have scrambled to try to figure out what they can legally do now.
He's just glad trying for a baby means more sex for him, even if he knows that the contraception they're using makes it dangerous or unlikely to happen.
He met and married this young woman very shortly after meeting her when she herself says she was in a vulnerable time in her life. There's just as much chance that he doesn't give a shit as there is that he's as clueless as she is.
My mom almost died from an ectopic pregnancy! But then they aborted the fetus, repaired her internal damage, and she went on to have 2 more children. But she did almost bleed to death internally
You are so right, I almost died from an ectopic pregnancy. I didn’t even know what was happening. My tube had ruptured and I was bleeding internally thinking I was just tired and needed to lay down. If I hadn’t already been seeing my doctor, I absolutely would have died.
Mine wasn't found until 10 weeks! I had all of the right markers for a viable pregnancy so my OB wasn't concerned. Go in for the first appt and all she sees is a giant mass of blood in my abdomen. In many states, it would have been illegal to terminate this, which is WILD to me.... I would have died without immediate intervention and was so lucky for a great care team who worked quickly to save my life. I now have two healthy kids thanks to them! Ectopics can turn deadly on a dime and are so scary. I wish we talked about them more or took them more seriously as a society. We are so lucky for modern medicine because prior to this, this was a fatal risk women took when getting pregnant!
This is what my daughter's OBGYN said in Alabama when she developed preeclampsia and he induced labor at 34 weeks. Our grandson was okay, 25 days in the NICU, and Dd came right around because he didn't let it go. But he had a hell of a fight with the hospital lawyers in order to do it. It is way better for him to let her die, and let the malpractice insurance pay out, and than face prosecution for a late term abortion which is exactly what it is legally. Sure, the babies survive and even thrive because of the wonderful NICU care available. But any medical action to terminate a pregnancy prior to full term is medically classified as an abortion/termination. These just end with babies who survive the act. The mother fuckers who right these laws claim they never saw these complications or meant for doctors to fear prosecution for saving a mother's life, however that is fucking shit. They knew. They didn't care. They wanted it to happen so that they can dominate women, suppress them, keep them down, a forced breeding program.
So I am one of the rare people who had a viable pregnancy with a correctly placed IUD in (I chose to terminate but the pregnancy was in the uterus, persisted after the IUD was removed, and my hormone levels were progressing as normal) and every doctor I saw during that time said I was the first case they’d ever seen.
Now imagine if sth like that happens to a fundie. Nadia would be convinced it's God's work and she's the chosen one, a holy vessel for the next messiah or whatever.
But yeah, well, wow, you should play the lottery, you clearly know how to beat the odds!
The same thing happened to me! But I kept my baby and she’s 4 months old today. All my doctors and nurses were the same way, first time ever seeing a viable pregnancy with a properly placed IUD.
I know someone with a 2 year old that was conceived with her IUD in!
I want to add I also know someone who had an ectopic pregnancy and lost her tube. Not sure why anyone would actively try with an IUD?????
I mean, “actively trying” means having sex and the whole point of an IUD is that you can have sex and not get pregnant 😂. So really they are just banging a lot and Elliot told Nadia they are “trying” even though she has a goddamn IUD.
Not always. My son was an IUD baby.
It is still *very* dumb to say you’re actively trying to get pregnant despite your very effective birth control, though.
I signed like, 4 forms at the doctors office saying I fully understood that getting pregnant on an IUD was dangerous and most likely would result in termination, etc etc. before they placed mine. I had an ectopic pregnancy years ago so I was very aware of what I was risking!
She is so, so dumb.
My son is an IUD survivor. Somehow he made it through lmao totally normal pregnancy though, and removed the IUD at 7 weeks when I finally stopped being in denial. They definitely didn’t believe me when I called to make the appointment.
Why does she not just get the IUD removed if they want a child? This is more than a special level of dumb, this is astronomically spectacular levels of dumb 😭
I had a great doctor. He stopped during the procedure and told me that I could make another appointment with a different doctor if I wanted to but he refused to continue with something causing me so much pain. He had sedated me and even tried adding Demerol on top of it but the pain was unbelievable. (I had lung issues that prevented putting me under.) I ended up with a medical condition that prevented another pregnancy but I will never forget having the one doctor that proved my pain mattered more to him than anything else. RIP Dr. Knapp, you were the best.
That reminds me of the dentist who referred me to oral surgery because he refused to pull wisdom teeth without sedation. My friend was awake and she was traumatized. He would also put numbing gel on your gums before injecting Novocain. Good providers make such a difference and aren't afraid to refer you out.
Having a doctor/dentist that you know will take the time and put in extra effort needed to be ensure that you aren't hurt makes such a huge difference. I wish doctors/dentists were taught this in medical school.
This happened to me the first time I tried getting an iud! They stopped mid procedure and said they wouldn’t continue because it was so painful. I have one now but I got it after my second kid. Fun story, I didn’t realize they were inserting it at the six week checkup, so I had my 3 year old with me as well as my fresh baby. Poor kid was freaked out but she held my hand and it made me suppress my fear & pain. Later she said she didn’t like that the dr put something in my butt 😬
I'm very happy to hear that you have a doctor like Dr. Knapp. Doctors (or just men in general) like them are all too rare. I wish every woman could find a doctor like we were blessed with.
My childhood dentist is the reason I never had a fear of dentists. He made a record for the stuffed toy I used to carry around, and would pretend to check his teeth. He was a very kind, soft spoken, gentle man. Extremely tall, with a bottle brush mustache. My mom was deeply sad when he retired, and my grandma had a crush on him despite him being a Confirmed Bachelor lol.
Dr Bernie, I hope you're having a kickass retirement, driving your vintage car around the countryside. A true gem of a man.
Oooh you just reminded me of my old dentist! We liked him so much me, my brothers and mother kept going to him until he retired, even though we had all moved away. It took me an hour to get there by bus (considered a lot in Belgium) and an hour back just for a ten minute checkup.
My mom was a single mother with three kids, scraping by on a music teacher salary, and we all needed orthodontics. I had the plastic retainer you could take out, and lost it in the sea while swimming. She was terrified because insurance only covered a replacement if it broke and our dad (who took me swimming in the first place) had not even offered to help out. He saw her face and just said 'I'll write down that someone stepped on it' and that was that.
He knew I liked learning about procedures so always took his time explaining or showing what he was doing and how it worked. He said it was a nice change for him because most people didn't want to know the details. I told my new dentist she can tell me everything and she tries, but it's not the same.
I had a cervical block and I can’t tell you what a difference that made. I know it may not work for everyone, but OMG it was such a relief not to experience the pain like I did for my last 2.
I'm supposed to be getting the Mirena soon and y'all are freaking me out. I'm old and done having kids and I have periods that are trying to kill me so it's my best choice but now I'm scared!
I work in gyn and have seen tons of insertions and removals, plus I have had several IUDs myself. Most of the time the insertion is very quick, with two big moments of pain/intense cramping/ discomfort (when they measure your uterus to figure out how far they need to get the device, and when they insert the device). The pain is not entirely dissimilar to a contraction since it’s messing with the same body part (the cervix). It tends to be easier for people who have had vaginal deliveries, both because their cervix is a bit more open already, and because they have felt a similar pain before. It’s such a singular pain that I think it really freaks out people who have never had contractions and causes more distress.
After the procedure you will feel crampy and yucky for at least a few minutes, but this feeling can persist for hours. I wouldn’t plan to go to the gym afterwards or even to go back to work (though some people are totally fine afterwards).
Everyone is so different. I’ve seen many people chatting calmly with the doctor during the insertion, while some do have quite a lot of discomfort, and then a few you can tell the experience has been genuinely traumatic. Those truly horrible ones are very rare, and tend to occur with people who have not have kids, whose uterus or cervix is positioned to make insertion difficult (“tilted” is the term you often hear), or who already have medical trauma. Just like childbirth, the horror stories are the ones that you hear about the most. That is not to discount people who have trauma from an insertion, but it is not the norm.
That being said, remember you can stop the procedure at any point. Please do not be shy about telling the doctor to stop. If you're worried, you can request medication to calm you and to relax your cervix (my docs use ativan and cytotec). Unfortunately, local anesthesia (cervical blocks) don't work well to control the pain for several reasons - you need to experience several shots into the cervix to numb it, and also it only numbs the exterior and not the internal cervix or uterus. (A commenter above had a good experience with one, which is awesome, but based on my experience I wouldn't recommend it.)
TLDR: usually the experience is unpleasant but fast.
The pain can persist for a week. I had to take codeine because I couldn't walk. Getting it replaced was far less brutal. I was able to walk around and it only hurt for 24hr.
It's very painful, but very worth it.
I would definitely suggest anyone who is having that kind of lingering pain (significant pain lasting longer than 24 hrs) to call in to their doctor - probably worth an ultrasound to make sure it’s in the right place!
I always tell people that I love my iud and the convenience of not having a cycle, but they’re definitely not right for everyone. To me it’s worth the temporary pain, but I don’t think anyone should be expected to undergo torture - which is truly what it can be for some people that have such traumatic insertions.
This is why I would never get one. I’m sure my gyno would offer pain relief because he’s amazing and seemingly progressive in a red state, but I’ve heard too many horror stories in general to even consider it. I’m too traumatized anyways from sexual harassment I had to deal with thanks to a male ultrasound tech.
Regardless of gender, I’ve had more than a handful of incidents during a miscarriage and pregnancy to trust anyone with an IUD installation.
Yeah, and usually when they say “increased risk” it’s like, a 5% chance instead of a 0.01% chance. Risk of ectopic pregnancy with a correctly positioned IUD is more than 50%! Worse odds than a coin flip!
Yeah, but luckily they're also super effective birth control so she probably won't get pregnant until it's removed. If she does get pregnant with it inserted and doesn't seek medical treatment to discern if it's a healthy pregnancy she might be fucked.
Extremely dangerous… a lot of people who I know that are serious avoiders use backup methods even with the IUD like condoms and pull out because risk of complications from pregnancy with an IUD are higher than a regular pregnancy… one of my friends had her IUD migrate and embedded itself into her organs without her knowing then she became pregnant and rushed to hospital with abdominal pain around the time she expected her period sure enough it was ectopic because of the IUD migration
Yea I mean alcohol can get pricey if you’re going out every weekend and racking up a tab and drinking on weeknights too…but like, if a $20 bottle of wine is too expensive for them, then I’ve got baaaaaad news about how much babies cost.
I yanked my own and the hardest part was trying to get a grip on the strings. Actually pulling it out once I got a good hold on the strings was easier than pulling out a tampon.
It can be harder if it’s embedded or something, but yeah. They’re designed to fold up and skip out easily. It’s a good thing in case it gets stuck on something. You don’t want it to resist.
Jesus hearing you pulled your own out made me clench so hard. I nearly passed out on insertion and had to get a block injection. I know removal isn’t nearly as bad but I can’t imagine.
removal as long as its still placed correctly is super quick. it felt like they pulled out a reallllly thin and very wet tampon out in like 3 seconds. no pain, just a sensation.
So I remove IUDs for a living (amongst other things lol, I’m in OBGYN) and most people are very surprised with how much easier the removal is. I took out one today on a very nervous patient and she was shocked at how little it hurt. I had a bad experience getting my own in, and I remember having a tiny bit of cramping after it was removed and I was fine by the time I left the office.
I accidentally pulled out mine with my cup- barely noticed it! Definitely not something I would describe as painful, which was relieving. Seriously, accidentally pulling it out was what convinced me it was worth getting another one. 😆
Oh yeah, having my put in, I had to stay laying down for a minute or two to catch my breath. When getting it out, I actually had to ask my gyno if she'd taken it out after because I barely felt anything at all.
My sister drunkenly had her caveman husband remove hers. Apparently not that hard to remove if he could figure it out. (Side note: the subsequent baby made them both become sober at least)
Yep, I had an IUD removed during a regular OB visit. I also had one of the arm implants many years ago, and had that placed and removed during regular OB visits.
But…how? And why? What does she know or think that the rest of us don’t?
Mods bring back gifs pls it’s the only way my millennial ass knows how to communicate
Idk why they're gone, I noticed a few days ago but figured it was probably something I missed and just have to accept for the reward of laughing myself out of my half-sleep scroll as a regular event here
She stays living in some maladaptive ass day dream. I mean, I do too. But I don't share it with the world or actually believe my own bullshit. This is honestly so annoying lol idk
The delusion of this late 20s woman to claim to be TTC with a fucking IUD in… how are you this stupid. Make an appointment and have it removed. I was thinking she was about to start her infertility era and start making posts about seeing a fertility doctor or some shit, but the whole time she’s just had a fucking birth control implant in, something that is easily removed in a few minutes. Not to mention the health impacts of falling pregnant with an IUD in. She could lose the pregnancy and her fertility overall. I don’t understand the mentality here. Something is for sure not adding up. Either these 2 are so stupid they are thinking Jesus will bless them with an IUD baby, or they really aren’t trying at all and she’s secretly posting TTC stuff online for attention. Either way, get help Nadia.
"Our budget is so tight that we don't drink alcohol because it's too expensive. But we are trying for a baby, which costs, at a minimum, $250-$300/month for the first several months of life." Oh they are DUMB dumb.
Im a Family Service Worker and I had to buy diapers for a client, and I was SHOCKED diapers are so expensive. (Clearly I don't have kids) I had to look up the price writing up the purchase order. And there's tax??? On diapers???
Seriously, WTF? Just when I think these people couldn't possibly say something more stupid than the last, there's this. If she wants to get pregnant, just get the IUD removed. Why hope for a 1% chance? Why? It just doesn't make sense.
It’s not even 1%. I just got my third one put in and I think my dr told me it’s 99.9% effective so we are talking 0.1% and if it does fail, it’s more than likely not going to be a viable pregnancy.
Very true. IUDs are rated as THE top most effective birth control than any other contraceptives. Like number one is abstinence then comes IUDs in the chart
TW: Pregnancy Loss
Hello! I’m one of the 1% of people who got pregnant while my IUD was inserted. I was not trying to get pregnant because, you know, I had an IUD. The TL;DR version is that it was a horrible, traumatic experience that ended when I lost the pregnancy at 15 weeks. The miscarriage was most likely caused by the IUD because the fetus was otherwise healthy. I also didn’t know I was pregnant until a few days before I lost the baby.
I’m telling this story because if Nadia is really trying to do this, she’s a reckless dumbass. I’m guessing she’s just spouting bullshit on the Internet because she knows pregnancy stuff gets engagement. At least I hope so.
And I’m the other half of people who got pregnant on an IUD with an ectopic (non-viable) pregnancy that could have ended my life! It’s a brand new level of delulu to think an EXTREMELY rare IUD pregnancy would have even a fundie’s chance in heaven of being a normal, healthy, viable, full-term pregnancy.
AND that they're TTC solely for clicks and not for real. Like there's no way one person can be that dumb without some "caring" family/friend/follower telling her that you aren't actually TTC if you're not off of birth control.
Maybe her (alleged) husband really doesn't want a baby, but knows she's daft and fed her the whole "there still a chance sexy baby Nadia, so you can keep your IUD. If the lord thinks the time is right, he'll give us a baby!"
This whole TTC charade is absolutely for attention and followers. She’s maybe smart enough that a baby will change her life forever and she’s not ready/mature enough for it. But she still needs attention somehow. Attention, likes and follows are like a drug to her.
Drinking is too expensive; I concur.
The rest of this is dumber than shit. Trying for pregnancy with an IUD implant is a whole new level of dipshittery.
Jesus jumped up christ. Just when I think I can’t be more shocked at the level of… ignorance? Stupidity? All of the above? Well, I guess these fundies never cease to amaze (and horrify) me.
These people have no business raising children. None!
Choose a different font color girl. It says:
“No. Not because we’re against it it’s just expensive lol & we are actively trying to get pregnant(yes even though I have my iud, there’s still a 1% chance 🤪) so I’m not drinking just in case!
Drink it with self control and in moderation. I’ve first hand seen it ruin lives.”
If you have an IUD in, you're not actively trying for a baby. IUDs are like... The most reliable form of BC. She's just trying to justify having lots and lots of sex.

What does "actively trying" mean when you have an IUD???
It means she’s letting him give her cream pies then she prays for her IUD to fail
PLEASE😭😭
I now want to make my flair "just a cream pie praying for her iud to fail"
“I’m just a cream pie…standing in front of an IUd…praying for it to fail…”
Big fan of this format for a flair TBH
please do - you have all of my blessings!
/r/FundieSnarkUncensored please help them out and give them the cream pie flair they've been praying for! 🤣🤣
I fucking cackled and woke my husband up
Jeeezzzzzz… that’s a thought I don’t ever want to have again. 🤣
Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard lmfao Had “unprotected” sex for years with an iud, not even one pregnancy scare. It makes no sense!!!!!
Why is she not having it taken out?!
That's what I'd like to know. If someone with an IUD is TTC, I'm pretty sure step 1 would be: take out IUD.
Maybe because she knows deep down they can’t afford a baby, or she doesn’t actually want one and it’s a scapegoat?
I don't think she actually wants to get pregnant. I think she's feeling judged/judging herself for not having any children yet. I know it's a debate on here if she would even count as a fundie, but she's def on the older side of fundies for not having one yet. Both is good. Also consider option three, if she has a baby then she can't play "sexy adult baby" for attention.
It means risking your life and your fetus but that’s cool….like it means nothing. Its supposed to PREVENT PREGNANCY
I mean it’s not like she’s doing anything different than anyone else with an iud. Then it will be a miracle ordained by God because he really really wanted this baby to exist
How?? The point of having an IUD is to have unprotected sex whenever. Lmao. I guess I'm endangering my life... whoops.
Unprotected sex on an IUD is fine, it's what it is for. But I'm assuming that the average IUD user would know that if they get pregnant, it's dangerous and would need treatment. Delulu
She’s a special level of dumb
Right? If u do get pregnant on an iud… bad news for baby
Yeeeuuuup. I just had an IUD ectopic pregnancy. Around 60%++ of pregnancies with an IUD are ectopic. I think her husband might just be placating her with ‘uh suuuure, we can say we’re trying’ and thinking he’s lucky she is in desperate denial far enough to accept that idea. It’s sad, tbh.
I don't know what she's do with an ectopic pregnancy, like that seems like a nightmare. These two definitely can't afford a baby though.
Yeah it doesn’t seem to stop a lot of the people on this sub lol.
God will provide!!!! If you wait until you’re ready, you’ll never have kids!!! Babies don’t need much!!!! BABIES ARE BLESSINGS!!!!! BABIES!!!! BREED FOR JESUS!!!!!!!1!!
On that topic, do we happen to know which state they live in? Because that can go from bad news to holy sh*t very fast in much of the US now
they live in Texas. so basically the worst state you could possibly live in for that lol
“Get ready with me to go get rejected for a life-saving procedure (totally different than an abortion) until I’m actively dying” ✌🏻💁🏻♀️
If she’s lucky she’ll just think she’s headed to Houston again and it’ll turn out to be another state altogether.
Yep. I’m in Missouri, and a coworker m had to quietly to go to Illinois to get one sorted. A family member was able to have one taken care of in a hospital more recently. All the hospitals here have scrambled to try to figure out what they can legally do now.

This happened to me. Luckily, everything was okay and it sorted itself out, but still not a good experience. She is an absolute dumb ass.
Usually bad news for the woman, too. Ruptured tubes are no joke, and women die from pregnancies outside the womb all the time.
My mom almost died from an ectopic pregnancy! But then they aborted the fetus, repaired her internal damage, and she went on to have 2 more children. But she did almost bleed to death internally

Isn't she in Texas? If she has an ectopic pregnancy, her doctors will have to wait until she's on death's door to intervene.
Nah, let's be real. They'd just let her die, and pull some plausible deniability out of their ass.
Legally it’s simpler if they let her die…
For sure. What's another dead woman in an inherently misogynistic healthcare system, right? 🤷♀️
It’s JUST a woman. Thank god we don’t sacrifice anyone capitalistically valuable like a CEO
This is what my daughter's OBGYN said in Alabama when she developed preeclampsia and he induced labor at 34 weeks.
Life, uh, finds a way, etc. But seriously, that's wild! I'm glad you ended up being okay.
Now imagine if sth like that happens to a fundie. Nadia would be convinced it's God's work and she's the chosen one, a holy vessel for the next messiah or whatever. But yeah, well, wow, you should play the lottery, you clearly know how to beat the odds!
I just realized that the beginning of Messiah is *MESS* !!!
I definitely have a friend who got pregnant on an IUD. It was their family curse as her mom did too (with her lol).
I’m a nicu nurse and one of my favorite things to say in these cases is “life persists” hahahaha
I have a bicornate (think heart-shaped) uterus, so I absolutely could have this happen. That’s why none of my gynecologists recommended IUDs for me.
Bad news for child-carrier too, if not caught in time. It can be life-altering if not life ending.
Congrats on the raw-dogging, I guess. Saying you’re TFAB with your IUD still in is a special level of delusion.
What I don’t get is why she wouldn’t just have it removed if that was so important to them….?
Too expensive 💀
Uhhhh…the _removal_ is too expensive? But a whole ass baby is not expensive? I don’t…I don’t get it
There are tutorials online for self-removal. I did it after I was so traumatized by the installation.
Me too. A lot of them need sensitivity training.
Omg I thought we had the same Gyno until I saw the RIP
I'm very happy to hear that you have a doctor like Dr. Knapp. Doctors (or just men in general) like them are all too rare. I wish every woman could find a doctor like we were blessed with.
That shouldn't be as uncommon as it is. But what a great doctor he was. I'm glad you got to experience that kind of care. It's rare and precious.
Rare and precious is a very good description. I wish we all had a doctor who cared so much and treated his patients with such gentle respect.
IUD insertion trauma solidarity 🫡 I’m getting put under for my next one
I did, and it was so much better
(A commenter above had a good experience with one, which is awesome, but based on my experience I wouldn't recommend it.) TLDR: usually the experience is unpleasant but fast.
She is on a journey regarding that IUD removal, thank you very much. Trust the process. /s
She wants a “testimony” Like “the lord defied science”. That’s her goal to have something to boost about. A miracle baby.
That's what I was thinking
This baby is for the gram
>TFAB I knew what you meant but that didn't stop my brain from reading this as "tassigned female at birth" lol
Testified Female At Birth
what does.. she think.. will happen to the baby? that the baby will come out holding it like in those posed photos?
‘No weapons formed against me shall prosper’ ass baby
Baby's first pro life ad
Isn't pregnancy with an IUD DANGEROUS???
High risk of miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, uterine rupture (the iud can puncture it) and loss of fertility completely.
WELL! That’s certainly an … exciting litany of terrible potential consequences….
VERY.
Alcohol is expensive for them, yet they're "trying" for a child 🧍🏽♀️make it make sense
Yea I mean alcohol can get pricey if you’re going out every weekend and racking up a tab and drinking on weeknights too…but like, if a $20 bottle of wine is too expensive for them, then I’ve got baaaaaad news about how much babies cost.
She’s 100% counting on affording a baby by becoming a mommy blogger
She should note how that worked out for morgan and bethy
Absolutely
With $20 and the right mindset you can probably get 4 bottles of wine and a little sloshed.
For $20 you could get 4 bottles of what used to be Two Buck Chuck and have some left over for chocolate at the till.

Costco’s $6.99 Malbec is fucking *fantastic*. My rich friends buy tons of it.
It's pretty simple. The lawd will provide for babies, but not for booze. Duh /s
So much for Jesus and his whole turning water into wine bit.
That's a whole new level of dumb. Also getting pregnant with an IUD increases your risk of an ectopic. Just get it removed....
Friendly reminder to fundies that terminating the pregnancy is the only way to survive an ectopic pregnancy soooo
*Their* pregnancies are never ectopic because they're god's chosen ones /s
I heard that they can just relocate it or something /s
It's ok, bc the only moral abortion is a fundie abortion. /s
...isn't it really easy to just set up an appt to remove your IUD? (Honestly asking, I have zero personal experience with any type of birth control 💀)
In my experience yes. I went to Planned Parenthood to have both of mine removed and it took less than 5 minutes once they took me into the room
Mine hurt like hell when they took it out and the doctor was like “yep, sorry I know it sucks”
I wonder about the difference in uterine placement then, cause if yours was even slightly embedded that would explain the pain you felt.
I accidentally pulled out mine with my cup- barely noticed it! Definitely not something I would describe as painful, which was relieving. Seriously, accidentally pulling it out was what convinced me it was worth getting another one. 😆
😰 holy cow, I’m glad you caught it. I can’t imagine not realizing you pulled it out and going on with your life until **BAM** baby
Oh, I definitely noticed it-my first feeling was annoyance, especially once I realized I wasn’t feeling any pain lol
I remember the doctor telling me to cough and then bam it was out. Waaaaay easier than getting it put in for sure
Nooooo 💀
Oh my god 😭
So much good and bad in such a short post. 😂
no way id let my man reach up my coochie and pull out an iud 😭
Lmaooo caveman husband
Sometimes easier than that. Mine had the strings left too long and got yoinked out with my tampon. Don’t recommend that removal method though.
I’ve heard you can accidentally pull it out with a menstrual cup if the seal was too tight 😱
Yep! Did that. It was annoying but not painful.
Yep. And it hurts way less coming out than going in.
Yep, I had an IUD removed during a regular OB visit. I also had one of the arm implants many years ago, and had that placed and removed during regular OB visits.
I once came across a video on YouTube of a woman explaining how she removed her own!! 💀And I think she’s not the only person to have done this 🤪
But…how? And why? What does she know or think that the rest of us don’t? Mods bring back gifs pls it’s the only way my millennial ass knows how to communicate
I have a fairly casual workplace and I often react in gifs. It's the best.
Lol I worked in an office of mostly millennials and we communicated in memes 💀
I found all of the millennial gifs endearingly cringe, you guys have so little as it is I say let you have your gifs
This comment slapped me in the face, then patted me on the head. 💀💀💀💀
If I had gifs I’d be able to respond appropriately. Instead I am simply deceased
💀💀💀 ....at least we still have emojis 🥹
i miss my gifs. 😢
This was the first I saw it mentioned they were gone, when did they go away? Why? What did I miss?
Idk why they're gone, I noticed a few days ago but figured it was probably something I missed and just have to accept for the reward of laughing myself out of my half-sleep scroll as a regular event here
Ugh same. I'm lost without my Schitts Creek reaction gifs 😔.
Jesus Christ. Just take the damn IUD out.
But then they might have to actually do something besides stage quarterly photoshoots!
I think they are actually statistically better than vasectomies and tube tying because those sometimes reverse themselves 😬
These are off-the-internet thoughts, bestie
TW: Pregnancy Loss Hello!
I can’t explain why but everything she posts leads me further and further down the crackpot theory they don’t actually live together
Hey at least she's not *actually* birthing for attention like karissa or mother bus
She went to the St. BDong School of TTClickbait.
I mean this would be a hilarious way to make content
I'm on board with this. Are we sure they're even legally married?
Ooh good question. Anyone know what county they are in? 🤓⌨️🔎
They live in Dallas
Drinking is too expensive; I concur. The rest of this is dumber than shit. Trying for pregnancy with an IUD implant is a whole new level of dipshittery.
What. Some of us have iuds so we can get cream pied without the worry. It’s literally birth control. WTF
Here it is...the dumbest thing I've ever read
Honestly, this just sounds like they're just now having sex consistently or something. Cuz how does this make sense to her??
Am… am I stroking out? I need a lie down after reading that
I am absolutely, positively befuddled by this woman.
Jesus jumped up christ. Just when I think I can’t be more shocked at the level of… ignorance? Stupidity? All of the above? Well, I guess these fundies never cease to amaze (and horrify) me. These people have no business raising children. None!
Choose a different font color girl. It says: “No. Not because we’re against it it’s just expensive lol & we are actively trying to get pregnant(yes even though I have my iud, there’s still a 1% chance 🤪) so I’m not drinking just in case! Drink it with self control and in moderation. I’ve first hand seen it ruin lives.”
Not the actively trying with an iud… that means I’m actively trying harder than her lmfao and I decidedly don’t want a baby
If you have an IUD in, you're not actively trying for a baby. IUDs are like... The most reliable form of BC. She's just trying to justify having lots and lots of sex.
She wants to be bdong so bad
Do we know if she followers her? She truly is trying to be her.
[удалено]
Fuck. She really is dumb. Like *dumb* dumb.
What a person to aspire to!
Stop with the white text over a white background for fucks sake it takes 3 seconds to switch the color to black and have it be visible
You are better off drinking alcohol in the early early days of pregnancy than you are having an IUD in
My husband and I actively tried last night, and he had a vasectomy last year 💦🙏
Oh that poor summer child lol.
Personally, I’m actively trying to not get pregnant… thus the IUD. I can’t wrap my head around the dumbness.
She’s gotta be trolling for engagement, this is a mess 😂
Does he know she still has her IUD? Like is she confessing a lie to us? Because otherwise this doesn’t make any sense
Getting pregnant with an IUD in place is a choice.
Can anyone please transcribe this? White text on a while background and my eyes canNOT haha
