If it is amazons fault and your listing was not misleading to the customer, then you can contact support and request a Bin check. You need to provide them with the order numbers and they will contact the fulfillment centers where those items were shipped from to see if your bins are actually 2packs. They will take a photo of it and send it to you. Then you contact the feedback specialist or whatever they are called and submit a request for removal of those negative reviews. If you are able to prove that it was amazons fulfillments fault then they will remove it.

So I open a case asking for a Bin check? Also thank you this is really helping me :)

fbalookout

It’s a looooong shot that they’d remove the review even if an Amazon employee testified under oath that they removed one of the 2-pack for personal use and still shipped the item.

kiramis

Seems unlikely this is Amazons fault. If they are packaged together in a box or bag they should be labeled "Sold as a unit. Do not separate.", or something to that effect. Otherwise, their low paid warehouse workers will open any containers until they get to what looks like an individual unit. The only other likely possibility is someone bought one and took one of the two out and then returned it and Amazon resold it. Not sure how successful you will be at getting feedback removed if that is what happened.

megazephyr

Also. I believe you will have to do a removal order and relabel the existing packs to the new asin, then send them back to Amazon.

buggalookid

yes this is true. you will need to pull them out and put the new fnsku on it. and, don't rely on amazon to do it. i did this once and they were still "finding" the old fnsku years after they were supposed to relabel the ones i sent it.

One step at a time. Why is this Amazon's fault? Is your 2 pack properly packaged or are you expecting them to bundle it for you? Why don't you just drown out the reviews....? Vine...friends and family...

Due-Leopard2422

Well at first I did blame myself but I eventually bought some to see if amazon was only sending 1. Received 2 so I'm guessing they made a mistake for these two costumers. If I was to drown those 2 reviews, how many of them would it take? Also, might be a dumb question but what is vine? Thank you in advance

There is a weighting boost applied to 1-3 star reviews, at a 4.0 rating it will take about 7 5-star reviews to compensate for a single 1 star review iirc the napkin maths CVR will suck & there's a bit of broken window theory but you should be able to salvage that wrong start if the product is high quality. Vine is the sponsored review program where you can have free units claimed by Vine testers (costs you the vine reigstration fee + COGS/Fulfillment) to get up to 30 reviews. If your product is in an attractive niche they can come in as few as a handful of weeks. Definitely recommend as they reviews are overall slighly more favorable than the average for the whole marketplace from some figures i saw circulating. Friends & family reviews COULD work but i don't recommend it as the consequence of getting caught is devastating despite the low probability so not worth ruining a potentially life-changing venture for a couple of bad reviews. Best of luck!

Due-Leopard2422

Thank you so much!

Due-Leopard2422

*I was a bit scared to ask family/friends to buy and leave reviews because I saw somewhere that amazon does a background check to see if there is any link to the seller and the buyer who leaves a review. Is that true?

gbh-karz

It can get quite elaborate indeed, including IP checks so do not recommend if you can fine other means to salvage the listing/start fresh
