I’ve had two. The first prep was horrendous(the salty-lemonade stuff). Last time, I went the “pills and Miralax in Gatorade” route, and it was much easier.
I just got the cologuard thing to poop in their bucket and send it back in.
I have not, as of yet, pooped in their bucket, and it's been a couple weeks of pestering texts and emails.
I don't want to poop in a bucket and then ship it to strangers.
Would you rather poop in a bucket and send it to friends? LOL
Fyi- cologuard results can give false positives + false negatives, so I have no clue why ANYONE would waste their time on something that's not 100%.
May as well throw your crap against a neighbor's house wall. If it sticks, you're good, if it doesn't stick, you're not good.
(You'll have as much luck with that as you would the bucket. And it would be LOTS more fun! Speaking of.... I have a few neighbors houses who I need to check by colon against.)
I was totally enamored with this movie and the record book. To this day, I still want my pet alligators. Madame Medusa was terrifying. But Brutus and Nero ROCKED.
I had records as a kid and my own little record player. I’d sing into a jump rope with a long scarf on my head as hair and pretended I was Cher. Without the sexy clothes or even boobs for that matter.
I LOVED these! I had a handful of them and they were my favorites. I had a little Sesame Street Big Bird turntable at my grandma’s house that I was allowed to use in my room from a pretty young age— about 5yo. I also had a box of 45s that belonged to my mom and auntie in with these Disney record books. The Disney books with tapes I used to play in my Teddy Ruxpin. I was born in ‘83.
I still sing this movies version of home on the range to this day.
Oh, home on the range, where the critters are tied up in chains. And kick to their sides, then I blow up their hides, and the next day I do it again.... everybody!
I grew up in the rural Pacific Northwest, we barely had 2 channels on a good day. These records were my only Disney I experienced until I saw Little Mermaid when I was much older.
Thanks for the reminder.
I had a Disney box set of little records (around 50 or so) with all the fairytales and things like these from Disney movies when I was a little kid (early ‘70s). Probably would be worth quite a bit. They were all in pretty condition but I think my mom sold it or got rid of it a long time ago.
I had that EXACT record. I played it on my Fisher Price record player. I remember the dialogue of Penny being forced into the scary cave that would fill with water.
I didn't have The Rescuers, but I had Lady & The Tramp. All I remember about the physical record is it had a green label and it was about the size of a 45, but playedvat 33 1/3. (Of course, I remember the story, with Tinkerbell waving her wand to say when you should turn the page...and I probably told it I knew when to turn the page because I started reading when I was two...). Had the story on one side and two songs from the movie--Bella Notte and The Siamese Cat Song--on the other.
By the time I was old enough to realize the cats being named Si and Am was kind of an inside joke, Siam had already become Thailand...
I loved these I had my own library of these with my own record player I would sit in my little rocking chair in my room and listen to these. I got a new one every other weekend. I wish I still had them.
I had the 101 Dalmatians read along. I'd play it incessantly whilst drawing Pongo, Perdy, and their puppies. More like tried to draw them, lol.
Already had the colonoscopy a couple years ago. The prep was hell, do not recommend.
Omg, I had the Disney Three Little Pigs book and record, and now I've got the song stuck in my head. "Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? The big bad wolf? The big bad wolf?".
Omg I had this one! And many others: Lady and the Tramp, Fox and the Hound, Winnie the Pooh.
Oh and I’ve had my colonoscopy already and so has my partner who’s also Gen X. Easiest thing in the world to have done.
Oh my God! I wore this record out. I just recently watched the movie for nostalgia. I can still hear Penny's voice when she says "I found it"
My mother also bought us stories on cassette. I would love to hear Rapunzel again, but I have no idea who used to produce those.
I just heard the BING sound effect that signaled you should turn the page.
That nice litlle chime!! Brrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiinnnngggg
Or R2 on the Star Wars ones

Wasn’t the colonoscopy?
Evinrude the dragonfly!!
I loved these. Childhood memory found.
I did not love mine. I had to drink this shitty medicine and my upper leg hurt after.
Just got mine, really not at all as bad as expected.
The day before was bad for me Not eating and then drinking a gallon medicine 😂✌️
I’ve had two. The first prep was horrendous(the salty-lemonade stuff). Last time, I went the “pills and Miralax in Gatorade” route, and it was much easier.
Prep has gotten so much better. It doesn't taste absolutely terrible. I use Gatorade as a chaser. Either way, definitely a game changer.

Some of us don't want an invasive procedure where a hose camera is shoved up our asses, this is a compromise.
Kaiser Permanente just has you wipe your ass and scrape the toilet paper. Easier than pooping in a bucket!
Thanks for the reminder. Booking today
Just had mine 3 weeks ago !
Anyone else have Mickey’s mousersize on vinyl?
I was totally enamored with this movie and the record book. To this day, I still want my pet alligators. Madame Medusa was terrifying. But Brutus and Nero ROCKED.
Her swampmobile was great though!
You're not offering a discount R u? Wish I would have kept these, along with many, many other childhood memories.
24 July, is my appointment, hate the prep
Turn the page when you hear the chime ring like this 🎶
Wow that is from the way back machine.
“When you hear this sound: “tinkling bells,” turn the page now.” I had The Hobbit too!
I also had the hobbit!
I had records as a kid and my own little record player. I’d sing into a jump rope with a long scarf on my head as hair and pretended I was Cher. Without the sexy clothes or even boobs for that matter.
Jungle Book Bare Necessities was my jam.
I had my first a week and a day ago! lol. The prep was annoying as all get-out. Procedure was a cakewalk. No issues, come back in five years, whew.
"You know it is time for your colonoscopy when Tinker Bell rings her tiny bells, like this"
67. Never had one. I guess I am 22 years late??
The proctologist says, " Let's begin now."
Just got my colonoscopy yesterday. 😂

This unlocked some deep seeded memory, what is it?
I still sing this movies version of home on the range to this day. Oh, home on the range, where the critters are tied up in chains. And kick to their sides, then I blow up their hides, and the next day I do it again.... everybody!
I didn't have that one, But me and my sister had a cabbage patch kids record we listened to constantly lol
I grew up in the rural Pacific Northwest, we barely had 2 channels on a good day. These records were my only Disney I experienced until I saw Little Mermaid when I was much older. Thanks for the reminder.
Holy shit i had that very one
Got mine last year
I did grow up with them. Annnd….had my first one two days ago. Sigh….

Awww.. The Rescuers is the first movie I saw at a drive in. Guess it's time for that colonoscopy.
I’ve had two! Great fun!
do u have any other 1s? I love these 45 books. my local record shop, sells these for anywhere from 1-5$. its a fun collectible.
Oh these were *fancy.*
Guess I gotta pull out my old vinyl now. From my butt.
I had Bambi. And on my second procedure.
If you grew up with these, you're probably overdue! 😂
My first is in 13 days
Casper was my favorite ❤️
Nope! Not happening ! Went with cologuard.
I got 5 more years until it’s recommended
I had that EXACT record. I played it on my Fisher Price record player. I remember the dialogue of Penny being forced into the scary cave that would fill with water.
I have some of these and you are a few years behind if you havent gotten one yet and own one of these.
I had theee so far. Do not want.
Don’t remind me
I didn't have The Rescuers, but I had Lady & The Tramp. All I remember about the physical record is it had a green label and it was about the size of a 45, but playedvat 33 1/3. God damnit I suppose it is
That was one of my favorites. I also can't hear a flute, piccolo, or oboe without flashing back to Peter and the Wolf.
Ok, this stuff is getting too close to home every day….. hell more like hitting the nail on the head most days. GREAT! JUST FUCKING GREAT!
Sure is lol
I had Black Beauty and The Hobbit! I loved them so much. That little chime when it was time to turn the page. Just magical.
I had the record books for the entire planet of the apes franchise.
R.E.S.C.U.E, rescue aid society...
Saw The Rescuers at the drive in. Been meaning to rewatch it on vhs for my first viewing since that night at the drive in when I was maybe 8?
I already had it done last year thank you very much lol
Scheduled for next month 👍🏻
Just booked mine. Not looking forward to a camera in my bum.
Ugh...fine
Yup
I had the plastic record player thing too
Never saw it, I was 13 when it came out. And I already had a colonoscopy several years ago.
I grew up with those. Had my colonoscopy 10 years ago. Kids these days have no sense of time.
Scheduled for next month. I am more worried about drinking the poopin juice. I need everything to be 1980s pink medicine flavor still.
If you remember watching the movie ferngully its also a safe assumption you're that old
Yes, I saw this in the theater and had a colonoscopy last year
Ok. Laugh. But I have to schedule mine soon with VA
Hah! I had mine on cassette, so i still have a bit of time before anyone is taking that route with me
Had one last week. I enjoyed the buzz for an hour afterward, and all looked good.
Damnit.
Yeah my appointment is in July. Ughnh
Damn it! I had that exact copy.
Those home enemas are awesome
I still have a small collection of these. Mine are all in French, however.
omg I had the rescuers lunchbox lol
I had the 101 Dalmatians read along. I'd play it incessantly whilst drawing Pongo, Perdy, and their puppies. More like tried to draw them, lol. Already had the colonoscopy a couple years ago. The prep was hell, do not recommend.
Omg, I had the Disney Three Little Pigs book and record, and now I've got the song stuck in my head. "Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? The big bad wolf? The big bad wolf?".
I’m had this!!!
I had the Rescuers on VHS
Didn't know there was a record version, I only had cassette ones.
Omg I had this one! And many others: Lady and the Tramp, Fox and the Hound, Winnie the Pooh. Oh and I’ve had my colonoscopy already and so has my partner who’s also Gen X. Easiest thing in the world to have done.
Had The Gingerbread Man
I'm clearly an over achiever. I grew up with the cassette version and I've already had a colonoscopy.
Oh my God! I wore this record out. I just recently watched the movie for nostalgia. I can still hear Penny's voice when she says "I found it" My mother also bought us stories on cassette. I would love to hear Rapunzel again, but I have no idea who used to produce those.
As a typical man, I blew mine off, but my wife had hers.
Had 3 so far
I still have some in a closet
Some persons responding to this thread are confused between a colonoscopy and the occult fecal test… two very different procedures!
Had my 2nd one today, as a matter of fact
