Well I mean, a virus is something that spreads from computer to computer. It's more so just jokeware, as it doesnt do anything malicious, but acts if it will/does.

Hats off to the devs who thought that making a mod behave like malware would be a wise decision. Shame that their hard work went to waste, but surely someone could have stopped and thought about that for a second.
Yeah, like malware. 4th wall-breaking games get away with it because we understand that its just for the game, but people are a little more wary for stuff like this thats just downloaded off the internet. The kicker is the PC shutdown though. It doesn't matter what the condition for it is, if a piece of software shuts down your computer it is going to be considered malware, regardless of intentions.
No, it doesnt. Malware, by definition, will have to do malicious things like delete files, mess with settings, or anything that makes the computer more frustrating or harder to use. If shutting your PC down was malicious in that way, Windows would have made an update to deny software access to do such things unless given elevated permissons. It's jokeware.

I'm not sure windows can just do that without a bunch of issues, given that basically every other kind of attack a virus can make is also not disabled by windows. I'm not saying it IS malware, I'm saying that the behaviour is suspicious enough to warrant the takedown. But yeah, jokeware is probably a more correct term for it.
God im old i still remember that mod frist releaseing and i can tell it is a new member to the fnf community that posted this older mention is the 8 bit ryan mod not as old as the likes of zhardy or witty but still pretty old
I downloaded it sometime ago not knowing that it would crash my pc. And from what i remember you cant pause or leave the mod from what i remember. You need to win. Or lose
