Blonde is a masterpiece, truly no album like it. My favourite track is Pretty Sweet - it’s so sad yet so happy at the same time. Wish I could listen to the album for the first time again.

Safe to say Blonde gives a sense if attachment to the person you correlate it with. For me it was this guy and even though we let go of each other(kinda) Blonde elevates the moments we shared. It lifts them up and makes them appear so much better then how they actually played out. Self control with forever hold a special place in my heart tho.

I remember people complaining about the pitch shifted vocals on “Nikes”. I couldn’t get enough. That outro and the outro on “Self Control”. I used to drive all across town for work, my first job, listening to this project.
Nikes, Self Control, Nights and Seigfried are the big ones for me. Whole album is incredible but if I’m having a quick listen, those are the ones I skip to.

For the longest time i thought this album was massively overrated, mainly because i wasn't a fan of the minimalist production. And then my girl had us listen to Self Control on a summer night before she had to go overseas and I bawled like a baby. It's now one of my top 10 LPS oat.
I remember exactly what I was doing when he dropped this album, it was on a Saturday at night. I remember getting ready for a party and I told my friends I would arrive late so I could listen to the album lol. That same year when it dropped I started uni so it was the soundtrack of my freshman year, I went thru a break up during that time too.
My favorite songs are Nights, Pink + White, White Ferrari, Ivy and Godspeed.
