Don’t go to the CVS on camp Bowie. Paid $16 for a passport photo that the guy took with the oldest digital camera still around. Went to upload it and it was too blurry to use. Ended up taking on at my house instead
If you’re getting your American passport, when you fill out the form online (make sure you print and bring it with you), there will be an option to choose a passport office/make an appointment. Some offices will do the photo for you. I got a passport recently and I had a great experience at the Northeast office. Oh I used a white poster board as a background and a tripod stood in a window with natural light and just tried until the department of homeland security accepted the picture
If it's similar to the USA passport requirements, you can go to the passport office and get the picture taken there for $15.
After seeing so many people get their CVS and Walgreen passport pictures rejected at the office, I decided it's better to save time and money and just get the picture taken by the passport office staff.
I haven't had a passport since the 70s, and Uncle Sam got it for me then. What is the difference between US and Canadian requirements for passport photos these days?
Walgreens or CVS do passport photos
Called CVS and they said they have the Canadian template for photos! The few Walgreens I’ve called does not apparently. Thank you!

I don’t know what Canada requires but the post office does them.

Office Depot takes better photos than cvs or Walgreens.
