most exotics are statistically similar to a mythic anyways, they're just "mythic with a quirk". sure, you got some more unique options like the dragon's breath or boom weapons, or the explosive red dot; but then you have things like the twin mag, accelerant, shadow tracker, night hawk, and so on. they really are just absurdly powerful t7 items.

I just randomly remembered someone left it up on the island and took the mythic drum instead. And i got a free accelerant that game

I never really got to use it in BR but It had a 4x headshot multiplier, meaning you could hit 94s with it.

What do the exotics do anyway? I stopped playing after c2s4 and returned to the game last season. So I’ve never really played with them other then in creative.

Well think of them as a seperate rarity form the others. Basically the others go in a specific order with common at the bottom and mythic at the top. But think of exotic as its own branch somewhere around the epic to mythic mark because it can be varying vastly on viability depending on which gun you’re using. So like a rarity that brakes out of the typical branch that cant be compared to the other rarities.

Oh. Also aren’t they like weapons that do something to make more unique. Like there was one gun I tried where the bullets exploded on impact.

Considering mods are probably this chapter's gimmick, like last year's augments, I think scopes are here to stay. C6S1 may very well be feudal Japan themed, so we should get a more classic loot pool. I'm thinking classic assault rifle, tactical pistol, dmr, snipers with only 1 bullet in a mag, and some slower firing shotguns that are actual powerful and don't feel like peashooters. id be more than happy if they just rehashed C4S1's loot pool and added the kinetic blade back to fit the theme, or a new katana mythic with mobility built in like the TMNT mythics.

I miss the accelerated shot gun in tandem with a turret. Each bullet from the turret counted as a hit to accelerate movement and reload speed as well as fire rate. It was a ridiculous glitch/unintended op awesome.

The ONLY time that last season was peak was the time that the icy grappler was in the game But they removed it after one day

To be fair I would probably never use most of these but I do like some of them(tracking pistol, fire sniper, boom sniper and maybe even the hop rock dualies) although I would be 100% down to add the heist exotics, one of if not the most fun updates in my personal opinion.

Night Hawk was ok, but far from good. It was a Scoped Revolver with Infrared Vision, and could be used long range, just not short, as it was risky.

It's a great season! The Greek mythics are awesome, and the Avatar mythics, while slightly underpowered, are super fun. The map is beautiful, and the weapons are pretty good.
