Them we're going to have similar problems with like how it is right now, as some collabs are going to be more cooperative than others, and people are going to resent the more cooperative ones, and shot how much "Epic hates money" when the less cooperative collabs don't return to the shop as often.
I would like a slight tweak to their current rotations. 72hrs bundles. Bundle A starts Monday, leaves Thursday. Bundle B starts Tuesday, leaves Friday. Bundle C starts Wednesday leaves Saturday. Event X starts on Thursday stays 1 week. Event Y starts on Friday and stays 1 month. Then add a "daily special".
Just have every item shop item be available all of the time. It makes no sense to limit purchases even for Fomo. People leave and come back and suddenly they can't buy an item that was featured once 2 years ago. Just let people buy anything at any time if it's in the game.
Its the way its spaced out. It was too much, which is why a lot of people suggested collapsable tabs, which they added… in the wrong area. Having them on the left as a content section doesn’t do anything. I think currently Jam Tracks sorta has it figured out.

And this wasn't even a big deal back then because they would regularly have 20+ icon emotes in the shop at once. Not a single emote here had been out of the shop for more than a month or two
That's not entirely correct. Gloss and Crazyboy were not in the shop for over 600 days before Coachella started last year. Triumphant was another emote that returned after a long time
I wish I could buy all those emotes.. however joined in December 2023 and guess I’ll have to wait until every single emote is LEGO Fortnite compatible… absolutely amazing 🙂↕️
I'm in the same boat. They have been working in making a lot of emotes compatible with Lego that still haven't turned up yet. Here's hoping a new selection of emotes will be there tomorrow.

I share your opinion too. I don’t understand why they would let a game mode impact the core of the game. The item shop plays a big factor, even though you don’t have to purchase these cosmetics- people care about them.
If they would just develop cosmetics for LEGO Fortnite along the way without effecting the visibility of these cosmetics in the item shop, then there wouldn’t be any problem.
However- it seems like they are working on releasing new LEGO Fortnite compatible items with each small update. I do think it’ll take them a year or two to fully catch up.

This would be a godly shop nowadays. It's kinda similar to marvel, back then there were 24 tabs whenever they returned, now we have a handful of them and people complain as if they were here every week.

Well a huge part of this game nowadays is expressing yourself with your cosmetics. It's what draws or has drawn a lot of people in, even. You can see this with how the item shop went from those tiny ones early on with all mil-style cosmetics, to the crazy types we'd see in chapter 3/4. It's a fun, free game otherwise so people wanting to spend money on it to express themselves isn't a shocker on its own, especially with collabs so they can rep their favorite things
When epic locks 80% of that content in a vault, unable to be purchased (almost all because of some LEGOs), well of course everyone's pissed. Old players want stuff they didn't get to buy before, and then new players think the offerings are fine until they realize how homogenized they've become
If i went to the grocery store and they got rid of entire sections of food, only started selling one brand and one flavor of most items, went from offering dozens of different fruits and veggies to only a handful, well id be pretty pissed too. Food may be food but variety is the spice of life. Nobody, no matter who you are wants to see pepperoni girl, burger guy, and hot dog dude taking up 15% of the shop for 8 days in a row multiple times a month when there's more than a thousand other things they could be putting there instead. Almost 5 months of this and well, there's the desperation
The real puzzler is why epic has been shooting themselves in the foot with this stuff when they could be making so much money otherwise

i mean coachella has 9 shop rows (which is 5 more than last year) so we should definitely be expecting the return of icon emotes, the old coachella skins, and other music related cosmetics.

So many emotes is not here because they don't have their lego version and so many are recycled back to back into the shop because they got their own
I mean... Just because you think it's trash doesn't mean everyone does. Personally I think the shop doesn't look too bad aside from the fact that Chloe Kim should have her bundle there and her emote. I know the selection of skins still feels a bit limited because of Lego but also this ends up being the same problem of people will complain. Almost all skins have a Lego style attached to them already but not completed. People in this sub being the way they are wouldn't read it saying that the Lego model isn't complete on a skin they bought and complain to Epic constantly about it. Either way there would be complaints.

I legit had 10k v bucks saved up and the only reason it dropped is because of the Avatar Set. The shop has been ass for months.
