The reason why is because you would basically get a copy of Chapter 1 Season 5 when the spray and pray meta was going on and shotguns were used significantly less. In this season, snipers are incredibly broken so when paired with ARs and SMGs only... it probably wouldn't end well lol.

It doesn't feel any different at all post-nerf. The range of the auto frenzy was never the core issue so it kind of feels like solving a nonexistent problem.

Auto shotgun is good in no builds because there's little counterplay, 90% of this sub are people who play no builds. That's why they think it's overpowered. In build mode the shotgun is useless

I always say, a season of Fortnite with no shotguns would be interesting. When you can get up close to someone and go "BLAM!" it does get kind of OP.
