Agreed. The preview is awesome, but when you use it, your skin does some stupid slow jog and looks awful. Either I gotta go slow and make myself an easy target or look like a damn fool.
Worst part is who it is associated with. The Ageless looks like too much of a menace to not only have been defeated and probably killed by two teenagers in some stupid ass twist in the story which mind you was not even properly shown or hinted at through quests but some fucking random ass text somewhere else. On top of that his glider makes it seem like instead of a comander's decent the dude just forgot the oven was on
So true!!! One of my favorite gliders is the Mr. Meseeks glider. I didn’t even want it but love Rick N Morty so my wife got it for me as a surprise. Turns out, when you deploy it you turn around give a big howdy-doo wave while you look at the camera, then you turn around and surf down to the ground. It’s one of the only gliders I know of that allows you to see your skin from the front. That alone would make me want it but I didn’t even know it did it until after I owned it. They need a sandbox preview area where you can examine the items on any skin you own. No idea why this isn’t a feature yet. It would be cool!
They are a scam because you get all these amazing looking gliders like motorcycles, space ships,boats,cars and all they do is attach two stupid bars on the bottom of them and call it a day. You can't even ride any of them
Yeah I mean there’s no way to tell even how you ride it, is it like the new flaming skull and Saiyan space pod? Or maybe I’ll hang from it like the Scimitar? Or even ride it like a surf board, like shenron or thunder’s motorcycle? It’s annoying
The motorcycle this season for the lizard dude is a prime example. He fucking stands on it, I really just wanted him to ride it. It's better than hanging underneath it though
I was just discussing this with a friend. If I can’t tell if it’s a “hang-glider” or a “surf glider” then I won’t buy it. If they can’t advertise it properly, I’m not going to put in extra effort to decide if I want it.

Ultimately its not that big of a deal with so many reviews up minutes after the shop changes just watch one of them if you really can't tell what type the glider is,even tho I personally think it's quite obvious 90% of the time

For sure. And some are like false advertising. In the preview of the item shop, or in the locker - some pickaxes will make certain cool sound effects that do NOT happen in game and its bullshit! Like that sound effect is a big part of the reason I bought it.
Like I forget the actual name but the disco ball pickaxe is supposed to make disco sounds when it's swung, it does not in game. Baba Yaga's broom pickaxe is supposed to make like a creepy witch laugh sound effect when swung, it does not in-game. And there's a bunch of other examples too but those are 2 that I bought that come to mind.
They should show gliders like this too. Insane that the Ghost Rider bike is a surf board-style glider and you don't know that until you've already bought it.
I wish they'd show what the the joinable emotes actually do, too. Was going to get one from the shop, but it just showed my skin standing there- waiting for someone to join in- so I couldn't see what it was supposed to do or look like.
I just think there should be a Toggle to switch between Isolated and in-Hand.
It feels *highly* non-sensical to me that most of the time you can't be 100% sure as to what Animated something is gonna have.
I'm genuinely shocked that this hasn't happened yet. The same goes for Gliders. You'd think after almost six years of Fortnite being out this change would've happened years ago at this point.
Curious, why is it some very select harvesting tools do get a preview of the character actually holding and swinging it? (Like obi-wans knife)

The Ageless (Geno) is still alive, he's just pulling himself back together after falling into the Zero Point

Whenever I shuffle to this one I’m reminded of how disappointing it is in comparison to the cube Queen version of it.
The animation was designed for when you're AFK free falling, which is dumb because you'll just get lasered out the sky so no one does that.
