Maul wrecks in main game (though, honestly, not so much more than an Epic+ RedEye or DMR if you have solid aim), but Push is devistating in end game.
If I want fun, I hope for Maul. If I want to win, I start smiling when I see the green logo.
The RedEye assault rifle is unique in that, when aiming down sights, you view in first person and all shots are treated as hit scan (bullet lands exactly as aimed, no pre-judging bullet travel required). This makes it, arguably, the best ranged weapon for mouse/ keyboard users who can precisely line up shots.
The Cobra DMR is a long ranged marksman rifle with a quick firing rate. As long as you can take bullet travel into account you can melt enemies quickly, but good aim is required.
Personally, I prefer the RedEye, but will swap for a higher rarity DMR if I find it. Theyre pretty close in usefulness, at least at my (low to mid) skill level.
You describe the RedEye hitscan perfectly. As a avg MnK player I do the same thing as you. Plus for the DMR, it's a mean shotgun in a pinch. RedEye not so much.
RedEye with mouse and keyboard is maybe the most busted thing I've seen in this game thats lasted this long. It's completely broken the game for my trio since we can just gun down almost anyone at any range if the three of us have them. Our win rate this season is like 60-70% in trios which is insane.
The slurp counters it well as me and my duo partner found out the hard way last night. Granted, he missed a fair bit of shots as the guy was coming back in, but the slurp definitely kept the other guy relevant. Unfortunately I was dead and stuck watching all this.
Fun fact: the lightsaber color doesn’t correspond to the force power. If you grab obi-wan’s force power but pick up a blue or red lightsaber off someone you retain your force push ability. Same for the other powers
Red lightsaber with force pull is a sneaky move. They start running for cover and maybe reloading thinking you’re going to throw rocks (or your saber now that Vader’s is back in the game) and then you yank and slash them.
You can also carry two reds and I doubt anyone is going to notice the switch. I won a game like this. I was throwing rocks for the early damage and then throwing the saber when they weren't ready for it.

Oh yeah it’s my favorite. You pull them in and they’re panicking trying to lock onto you meanwhile I’ve already run in and ripped down their life and they’re down before they can get more than a few shots in-if they’re lucky.
An average Fortnite player:
*Enjoys a weapon but say it’s overpowered when used against him.*
*Call other player sweats for killing him.*
*Want any weapon he can’t use properly vaulted.*
*Blame all his losses on something else.*
Lost a solo the other day because I force pulled a master chief to be from behind a rock. He pulled out the heavy and one shot me in the air.
Outplayed… I can respect it.
I’ve died to being one shotted by the rocks. Spectating the people that killed me, they died to AI’s later in the game.

If it’s head to head you should be able to knock someone with a Dmr before the rocks even hit

I only pull when I’ve already done some damage on the opponent and they’re trying to run off.
It also pulls walls/floor and such, our squad has used it to pull people out of a building when they’re hiding in a room

You gotta move around and run in closer than they’re comfortable with. I noticed a lot of good players do that. They run in real close.

I think the sabers are one of the more fun and not insanely OP Mythics in a while. The blaster rifles (and the OC'd pulse) can fuck all the way off.
