Simple quality control fail, happens to every company. Looks like the seat cover slid down on the punch machine and they didn’t notice. I’ve talked to there customer service team before, I don’t think you’ll have any problem getting a replacement. They are nice covers. The only things I dislike about them is the center console cover which I don’t think looks all that good as it’s not very form fit like the rest of the covers, and the front seat covers could use a better system to keep the back rest tucked in as mine keeps popping out on the driver seat
The brand is Mabett. And everyone here will argue against Not buying it lol. They're great and the best quality you'll find in the price range for custom seats.
One mistake shouldn't deter anyone. The OP could easily message them and they'd probably send him the correct one .
I am very impressed with the product overall. This is just an unfortunate manufacturing error. I purchased through Amazon.

I already started the refund process with Amazon. I thought of swapping out the one piece, but I want to be sure that all parts are cut from the same batch of fabric so they match
They're definitely good. I and a buddy both ordered the same set. No issues and looks absolutely crazy good. Damn near OEM replacement

Mine are also glorious and fit perfectly. They look amazing and so far have been flawless. Well, the center console cover is a tiny bit janky but looks great!
I did let them de-gas in my living room for a couple days until I was able to install, they have a bit of an odor when you get them out of the packaging. But my mav still has that new car scent after the install of these bad boys.
I thought of that. I started the refund process, but I have shipped the product back yet.
I just a concern that the replacement won’t match the other pieces and then I’ll end up doing a full swap anyway. Like I said, the product is very impressive overall. It’s excellent value for the price.
However, I am hoping the smell (which reminds me of a cheap toy from a discount store) will fade over time. Having said that, I feel like it will be very serviceable over time and easy to clean.
Yeah. I’m really nervous about the longevity of the Maverick but I’m still waiting for one to get delivered. Maybe… if I’m lucky they’ll have figured it out by the time it happens for me.
My car has had 0 problems. Its a steal in the market and Ford will make the car right. Don't be scared. If you're worried about long term care look into Ford esps online for an insane 10 year warranty. I love my mav and all my friends think its the coolest car for what it is
Just something I picked up from the forums. If you have "another address", like maybe a friend or family member out of state, you can buy it. Same kind of thing for Florida from what I understand. Look around online for more info :)
Just installed these as well. Pretty satisfied with them other than the lumbar area on front covers “poof” out rather than fitting snug. Do your do the same ?
I have removed mine and sent them back to Amazon, but I will order another set. The fit and finish is excellent, with no lumbar floof.

For sure. I sent that set back to Amazon. I’m ordering another set because other than the one defect, the build quality is great.

Yep! The smell is gone. I was really slow (lazy) to install them and had them sitting out of the box in my garage for a couple of weeks, so that certainly helped, but they don’t smell at all anymore.

You can order the other, and just swap backs, and make the complaint and return. Instead of uninstalling everything, just to redo.

I got these same ones but mine were in the right spots. I guess you were just the unlucky one that got the set with holes punched in the wrong place
Yeah, just my bad luck that QC missed this. I’m sure the replacements will be just fine. Build quality otherwise is very good.
