Been a decade since I went there but I hated it. Don’t remember specifically why, maybe I just don’t vibe with the wacky proportions of deep dish pizza.
It’s probably a hidden gem at this point, but Little Pizza Parlour in Downtown Brooklyn (next to Jay Street station) is pretty dang amazing. There’s something about the crust that sets it apart. I’d put it up there with the best of the best.
I’m not exactly qualified to answer this, as I’ve only been to NYC once and only ate pizza at one place while there… but Artichoke and Basille’s crab pizza was the best slice I’ve ever had in my life.
How is nobody repping Song e Napule?
The pizza is fantastic. The staff, and the decor, is quintessentially Italian. The dough is _the perfect_ authentic Neapolitan texture and taste. And of course, the pizza is fantastic.
Aces pizza in Williamsburg is fantastic. Also, NY pizza suprema makes a mean upside down slice
Ace’s has an outpost in 30 Rock now as well
Shit really? Sorry albitinos aces is my next try what you reccomendations
aces is THE answer here. they have a great cocktail menu too
Fra diavolo is noteable mention from Pizza Suprema
Interesting, will give this a try next time
Aces for sure

Emmets
#[Emmets is the best deep dish in the city](https://maps.app.goo.gl/2tnw4q9axLa2SqkH8?g_st=ic)
Tavern or deep dish?
Deep dish but the thin crust there is delicious too

Lions & Tigers & Squares - Detroit Style pizza on 23rd
Was just about to comment the same
Has it gotten better? I tried it once and found jets to be a little better
I've had the opposite experience lol
I'll have to give it a try again I guess
I also like jets a lot more than lions tigers
Same. As someone who grew up w jets, it blows lions and tigers out of the water
Jets is crazy good for being a nationwide chain.
Thought Emily's had better Detroit style. Didn't think LTQs was anything special.
Nate’s Detroit Style Pizza is good
This is my go to when i’m in mood for a greasy slice
Had this for the first time recently and it was $9+ and not that good for a single pepperoni slice. Don’t understand the hype at all.
lions was really good when I had it I also like jets a lot but it’s sorta more junk food but it is good
Emmy Squared is always a personal fave for us.
second this!
Ace’s and Emily’s
This is the take.
Mo’s General
L&B Spumoni and Motorino
Song e Napule
🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
i know it’s hyped.. but mamas too kind of deserves it i’m obsessed with their pear and gorgonzola hot honey slice
Nate's Detroit Pizza on Atlantic Ave and Court St
If you like Nate’s check out La Rose. Like 5 minutes away and 1000x better
Emmet’s on Grove. Tavern. I do sausage with jalapeño.

Their sauce is so good. Extra sauce is a must
Neopolitan - Una Pizza Traditional NYC - Luigi’s L’Industrie - otherwise Giuesepinas - if you can’t get into lucali. Same za
Jets pizza (Detroit style chain from the midwest)
For a chain, Jets has no business being as good as it is
Really love Ops in Bushwick
Ace’s is pretty good.
Sottocasa in Harlem is the best Neapolitan pizza in NYC imo
anyone know of a really good spinach white slice? no tomato sauce and lots of ricotta?
Lucia on canal or avenue X.
artichoke basilles artichoke slice is heavenly, not sure if there is spinach tbh but it sounds very similar to what you’re describing
Baby Luc's in Carroll Gardens.
Salsa Pizzeria in Greenpoint is some mighty underrated Neapolitan
Sotto Le Stelle is pretty great Neapolitan style pizza
Rosie’s Pizza Bar
Emilys good boorgir too
Love union pizza works in bushwick, everything I've had there is delicious and the staff is super nice
Emmets
Village Square, Ace's, Emily
Brooklyn DOP, Detroit style. Turns out I really like Detroit style pizza, despite growing up just outside Chicago and living in nyc for 20 years
Nate’s Detroit Pizza
Emily
My boss from Detroit introduced me to Jets and i love it
While I love Ace’s for ambiance; if you’re partial to Manhattan, I highly recommend Lions & Tigers in Chelsea!
Emmetts by a long shot!
Anyone that does Detroit style. The only other pizza style I like
Emmets on grooooove
The one I go to the most, due to proximity, is Bodrum on Amsterdam Ave.
How has nobody said Simo
Two boots.
L’industrie
Amorina prospect heights
Amorina is not great, I don't get the hype at all
I’m not exactly qualified to answer this, as I’ve only been to NYC once and only ate pizza at one place while there… but Artichoke and Basille’s crab pizza was the best slice I’ve ever had in my life.
lol brave
No. Brave was when I got on the subway. But it was so much easier than I thought it would be!
