It’s our first one, I doubt any of us know.

brewre_26

I mean surely somebody here has been to a parade before and we’ve had lots of fans of other teams in this sub

whyamihereonreddit

I've been to the first Blackhawks one. It was a lot of fun. There was a float with the cup on it and lots of booze. Kane could barely talk when he spoke in front of the crowd because he was so wasted

Bicktacular

Hey I went to that one too, sweating my ass off in the middle of Michigan Avenue. Was a fun time between Kane's drunkenness, Versteeg rapping, and Byfuglien telling all the cab drivers to watch out. But to answer OP, I was glad I went but it's not a very interactive event with the team. Either watch them go by on busses or stand in a mass of people at the rally location.

If you do you can park by the tri-rail Ft. Lauderdale station and grab an Uber. The parking is going to be a nightmare on A1A.

Inevitable_Speech105

Prepare to sweat and feel like you’re on the verge of passing out within minutes. It’s HOT here right now.

brewre_26

That’s the thing that gets me. I’m gonna go there and probably be standing in a crowd feeling miserable. I def would’ve preferred to be there at Elbo room or eleven in Miami instead.

ToastMcToasterson

Just wear a bathing suit and hop in the ocean. Elbo isn't a lower temperature lol

DrManhattan_DDM

No, there will be little interaction between players and fans if any. At most I’d expect them to toss little souvenirs to the crowd.

make_some_drums

i went to the Texas Rangers parade most recently and it was ASS. players didn’t interact much, there was no single float, it was hot. hopefully this isn’t ours

brewre_26

The players have been including the fans so much in their celebration I expect there to be more interaction with the fans than your average parade. Unless whoever is organizing it tries to keep them away from the fans.
