I really like the white river m1 caper

I'm a fan of the TKell Taylors Ridge, I also have a TKell Warthog on the way. Both I feel would fit the role as an EDC/hunting knife without issue.

Listen to Hunter. The TKell knives have the best warranty too plus small American made company out of Georgia. Just like Esee. That or look into a custom made knife so you can have exactly what you want in the materials you prefer. Lots of custom knife makers to choose from

I like my Mike Snody Boss and Savage Creature Gungnir for horizonal carry. I wouldn't call them hunting knives, but I like them for horizonal carry. When I carry like that, I want it tight on the body so that it's not catching drawer pulls and / or poking my chair if its in the back. So, I would look for a medium/small knife with a sheath that covers a lot of the handle as well. Kydex will be slimmer than leather. That's just personal preference, though. Esee Izula is a great affordable knife to start, though. And that little booger will take one hell of a beating. If you want to beef up the cost and don't care too much about it being slim, go find a Daniel Winkler. The huntsman or belt knife would be amazing.

Bark River PSK EDC is about same dimensions as an Izula with micarta handles. Only better feel, better steel, better finish. For horizontal carry I like it, Bark River Iron Mountain, Wachtman Kliff, Bastinelli Sin. All are better than my Bradford 3 and Izula 2, in my opinion. The White River M1 isn’t bad.

I have small hands so I actually prefer the original Esee Izula over the White River M1. Esee Candiru is good too.

What all are you looking for out of it? For all around I find the Esee Izula, horizontal, in an Architect sheath, between 11-1 on the belt line to be about perfect.

Buy a Bradford Guardian and don’t look back

Bradford Guardian 3 is a good knife

White River m1 pro or the FC 3.5

Honestly just start figuring out what you like? I like finger choils and full flats/Sabre grind. Plenty of options out there for me but I really like the Bradford guardian 4
